View Full Version : Who wins scoring title this year?

It seems alot of the top players don't seem to want it anymore. Lebron didn't want it, gave it to durant, and durant didn't want it and gave it anthony. Now it seems neither might win it, durant with his stacked team, anthony trying to play team ball, and lebron trying to make his teammates better. Who wins it?

Probably Melo again. Lol at him playing team ball, he will rest on defense and chuck up shots on offense as usual and Knicks will suck again.

the only reason it wont be durant is because hes injured. btw kobe gave it to durant in 2011 - 2012 if i remember correctly he sat out that kings game.

In which he needed 38 points to win it.... that's far from given.

Of course he also took 23 FGA with 7 foot beasts Bynum/Gasol on his team, shooting to the tune of 43% opposed to Durant with 20 fga and 50%...

Nothing what Kobe did that season should anyone be proud of.

Durant, he may be out but once he comes back he is easily the league's best scorer.

could be harden since at least offensively beverley is a huge downgrade from lin and ariza is a downgrade from parsons... his only back up atm is jason terry.

and as much as errybody lerves to hate him, he finishes & shoots & gets to the line as well as anybody in the league. and he just turned 25.

could be durant or melo too though. i don't think anybody else besides those three is in contention.

Melo will avg 32ppg

He'd rather be the big fish in a small pond than win rings. Dude is a complete joke.

KD. Best scorer in the league. No one will be on his level for a while

Harden is a good guess. Melo will be the focus of the triangle, but that team won't be playing at a very fast pace, and he'd have to be super efficient to pull it off.

I think Durant will be fine when he gets back, but it will take him a few weeks to work the rust off, and those short minute games where he's working himself back into things will probably be enough to cost him a real shot at it.

There is a decent chance that Kevin Durant won't play in enough games to qualify for the scoring title this year. A player must participate in at least 70% of the games in 82 game schedule, which is the equivalent of playing 58 games or more.

If Durant plays enough games to qualify, I'll go with him. I think he is the best scorer in the league. After that, I'd go with Carmelo.

Near the end of his career, ruptures his achilles, fractures his knee, essentially misses an entire season....still has random dudes from Germany obsessing over him. What a ****ing life to have :oldlol:

I could see Blake doing it if his jumper is really that much better now although he is more of a long shot. My money would probably be on Harden. Fast paced offense and he will probably absorb some more shots with Parsons gone.
