smh at espn disrespecting greats like russell, kareem and to a certain degree, shaq.

"6 for 6"? what about magic's 9 finals appearances and kareem's 7-8 with 6 rings? :pimp:

The guy sounds just as dumb as these Jordan bashers on ISH.

Just so mad that no one has surpassed Mike yet. What's so wrong about that? Why he so flustered?

You're in the top tier of LeBron slobbers. I mean right there with the jt, Pauk, arbitrary, those guys.

Why would I want to waste my time with an agenda driven video?? Like I said. The guy is mad that no one has surpassed the Gee Oh Ay Tee!!!!

Mj Fts went down all from his early years in his chip years.:lol sit down bum
none of that is relevant. jordan and the bulls still got all the calls.

ive been saying that superstar treatment started with jordan. in fairness to the other greats, i must put them over jordan because of this.

russell, kareem, and magic are now locks for top 3 / top tier players.

He got them when his team needed calls. This is the same man who was allowed to stay in a game after clearly punching reggie miller in the face

Of course its relevant. Otherwise you're just spewing your typical BS to try to throw shade on the GOAT.

How do you know if those three guys didn't get "star treatment" like you said? You quoted a guy saying the NBA wanted a Heat/Nets playoff matchup last year. So then you'd have no problem believing the NBA might want a LA/BOS finals in the 80s then right?

read between the lines. "the superstar treatment started with jordan". his predictions on games today dont mean anything. he isnt affiliated with the nba anymore.

i remember seeing a clip i think in "above and beyond" where donaghy walks up to jordan in shoot around, whispers something in his ear, and then they shake hands. always thought that was suspicious, but this quote i digged up is all the proof i need.

jordan has no case for GOAT after this. none.

He was talking to a radio guy that works for the Raps. Of course he's gonna say something to get you to think the league is going against you.

If you think MJ was the first to get star treatment than you are just being ignorant. And well you're a known MJ basher so it makes your thoughts irrelevant. Ironic huh.

Jordan is the GOAT but it is certainly not because of 6/6.
Any one who uses the 6/6 as the biggest reason Jordan is the GOAT is retarded and is basically saying that it is better to lose in the earlier rounds than in the finals.

All Stephen A. Smith needs to say is 24-0

24-0 with home court advantage.

Bird = 7 (1980, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1988, 1990, 1991)

Duncan = 6 (2001, 2004, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012)

Kareem = 5 (1973, 1974, 1977, 1981, 1986)

Shaq = 5 (1994, 1995, 2004, 2005, 2010)

Wilt = 5 (1961, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1973)

Oscar = 4 (1962, 1965, 1973, 1974)

Magic = 4 (1981, 1986, 1990, 1996)

Lebron = 3 (2009, 2010, 2011)

Hakeem = 2 (1985, 1987)

Kobe = 2 (2004, 2011)

Russell = 1 (1958)

MJ = 0

Some of you Jordan haters are idiots. Literally makes zero sense for ESPN to purposefully market Jordan as the GOAT and label him this unstoppable obstacle that guys like Kobe and Lebron can never overtake. If anything, it's the ESPN people that actually say those guys are better than Jordan that might be getting specific direction from ESPN.

Russell = 1 (1958)

Also, injured in that series. Interesting that the Celtics lose the one finals Russell gets hurt in.

It would be like if MJ got hurt against Utah, had to sit out the rest of the series, and the Bulls lost.

Stephen A is obnoxious at times, but nothing foolish with what he said. 6 rings, 6 fmvp, 5 mvp, undefeated in championship final, undefeated with home court advantage,and have the stats to back it up.

Bill Russell - play in a league where the majority of the players are unathletic white dudes, and the NBA had only 8 teams

Will Chamberlain - same reason as Bill but also got his ass handed to him by Bill and Co..

Kareem - He played with another top 5 player of all time and he wasn't even the best player on some of his championship run

Bird & Magic - Don't have the hardwares to back it up
