...says He's Now Like Wizards-Era Michael Jordan

In talking about Kobe and the Lakers, an assistant coach for an Eastern Conference team basically told Broussard that Kobe was washed up.

He compared Kobe to Wizards-era Michael Jordan. It's pretty brutal:

I'm in total agreement with those who say Kobe's done. Look, you could put any high-level 2-guard on a bad team, let him jack up shots and get 20 points a night. So Kobe will be able to do that. But they ain't going to win. We don't judge Kobe off scoring 20 points a game. We judge him off dominance, off: 'Will they win 50 games, will they make the playoffs?' But now, we're not even talking about any of that. I'm not saying he can't play anymore. That's not what we're talking about.

:lol No one is going to put their job on the line to tell the truth. If there were no anonymous sources, all we would get is endless insufferable sycophancy.

It takes guts to tell the truth in a professional environment, even with anonymity. Why risk the clothes on your children's backs just to get respect from some rando on the internet like you?

This guy is a coward and you're just some random Internet guy as well. Hiding behind these anonymous sources is like hiding behind your mommy in a fight.

Either nut up or shut up.

An assistant coach in the eastern conference wouldn't be risking his job here. Only a Laker coach would be at risk for anything more than a public argument.

The coach wouldn't be fired, but he would get in trouble for the huge distraction it would bring to his team. The media would no doubt start asking the players if they agreed with their coach, and there would be no proper response they could give without the media twisting it to fit an agenda.

Overall this coach is dead on. Any average 2 guard could go to a bad team and put up 20 points a night, but helping the team win is something entirely different. I don't see Kobe making much difference in the Lakers win loss total this season. He had negative win shares in the 6 games he played last season. :lol

Damn, Kobe not efficient OR dominant?

Your posts are painfully stupid dude. Like I hope you don't say these things out loud in front of actual people.

The irony of course, being that Kobe on the right East team WOULD be a 50-win team. Much easier to get that .600 season in the JV league.

So basically we have somebody saying 36 year old Kobe won't be as dominant as 30 year old Kobe and that idiot Broussard thinking he's found a hidden gem to share

Thank you Mr Basketball for making it all so clear

That assistant coach said what everyone already knows, no big deal.
