Soon Kobe will be gone, Bron's getting older, You got Durant and Westbrook on the same team blocking each others shine. But after that, nothing, none of these other guys have that superstar quality like players had back in the early-mid 2000's.

Kidd
Nash
Starbury
Steve Francis
Mike Bibby
Iverson
Bryant
Tmac
Pierce
Ray Allen
Vince Carter
Shaq
Duncan
Garnet
Dirk
Webber
Yao
Billups
That whole Detroit team
Baron Davis
Many more... sure I'm missing a few

Well if you're gonna count guys like Billups and Bibby then you could say Curry and Lillard are superstars too, no?

Some of the players you listed were hardly superstars.

If these are what you consider superstars then there is a whole lot more current players that would fit that mold.

Duncan, Shaq, Kobe, Garnett, Dirk, maybe Kidd, T-Mac and maybe Webber were the only real mega-stars back then.

Today we only have LeBron and Durant.

And then there were tons of superstars compared to today, and they were all better.

Dark time for star players.

No Wade?

I meant mainly from 99-05. Wade was clearly a megastar from 06 on, but not in his first few years.

That's why I didn't mention Nash either.

Lol, yeah, I figured that eventually. Early 2000's, Wade obv wouldn't be mentioned in that group

Although Iverson would have to be mentioned in that group as well

Dude named a bunch of dudes that no one really considers superstars and then had the nerve to say it's only Durant and LeBron. The nostalgia and irrationality is hilarious.

My dude said Mike Bibby

Blake Griffin and Anthony Davis are the league's next great superstars.

The league is more popular than ever and there are certainly no less superstars than 10 years ago.

We are at the end of the Kobe/Duncan era and firmly entrenched in the LeBron era. But there are HOFers all over the place: Dirk, Wade, Paul and guys like Curry, Durant, Carmelo, Randolph, Gasol, Love, Aldridge, Howard...

Vince Carter was more of a mega-star than Chris Webber early on. Arguably the most popular player on the planet at one point.
