Somewhere around 40 wins.

40 to 42 wins at most, and that's really pushing it. No playoffs.

They have one of the more dangerous squads in Knicks history, I say around 40 wins and the 9th seed.

Ok so, last years group was. (No order)

Heat, Pacers, Bulls, Raptors, Wizards, Nets, Hawks and Hornets..

So... Who got/gets better out of these? The noticeable ones are the Bulls, Wizards, Hornets, Nets and Hawks, these are just "Roster Upgrades", with returning players or signed players. Then you've got the "youth gets better" teams, which is the Raptors, Wizards and Hawks(Teague).

The teams that have got worse on paper are the Heat and Pacers due to the obvious. However, at least one of those teams are still playoffs. Pacers could still get it done.

And the Cavs obviously shoot up the rankings. Top3 clearly. But then you have the unknown of the Pistons, they really should be looking at the playoffs this year.

So that's 10 teams that the Knicks are going to compete with, when, they haven't made any REAL roster upgrades...

For the people that see the Knicks making the playoffs.. Who misses out?

Personally, I wouldn't put money on them making the playoffs. The East has got stronger since last year.

8th seed swiftly followed by being swept in 1st round.

Championship or bust

I'll take a 7th seed and 2 wins in the playoffs though, if I wanna be realistic

43-44 wins.
If they don't get this, then it is a bad season.

41-44 wins. 6-8 seed, the East will be pretty bad this year.. Standard:lol

the east is tough this year. Even a former second second in the east isn't guaranteed a playoff spot among some of these super teams. IMO they miss the playoffs with 40 wins.

40 games

which might mean HCA

Last year? Woody and Felton accounted for 5 losses each, by themselves.

Don't count on it.
Louis Williams was a good pickup - the Raptors need that instant offense off the bench.
Very solid club since Gay was traded.

horrible. none of them know the triangle, and they all sound like they'll never know it, while trying to run it this year. i don't even think half of their IQ's can get it with half their starters, especially JR. at least Phil's Bulls, and the Lakers sort of, had smarter players. i can see this Knicks team never being able to grasp it, or it taking like 5~ years to learn for them.

If they make the playoffs, then they've exceeded my expectations. They are 4-5 pieces away from a good squad that can compete with anyone. I'd love to see Phil pull off a major trade involving J.R. or Bologna (or dare I suggest BOTH), but I think it's doubtful.

I'm happy they have youth and direction...I'll enjoy this season.

So troll away boys....... you have your own teams to contend with.

This post really exposes your almost non-existent basketball IQ. Why don't you go have a few more Twinkies?

up to 42 wins, will be lucky to make Playoffs. Next season might be much more interesting for Knicks.
