Steph. That new GS offense is gonna make things much, much easier for him. He was already a ridiculous shotmaker with a pretty weak system that didn't do him much good..give him an offense with more spacing, ball movement, one that lets him play off the ball to put him in more catch and shoot situations and reducing his constant playmaking burden..good luck rest of the league.

His catch and shoot #s are insane, he was ranked #10 in the league in catch and shoot % last year for players who played more than 25 mpg, at 49%...and 7 out of the 9 guys ahead of him are big men taking high percentage shots, and the other 2 are Shaun Livingston (who doesn't take tough shots) and Kyle Korver. It's pretty damn scary that even with Steph having opposing defenses concentrated on him and taking heavily contested shots at all times, the only guys shooting better than him are big men, Livingston, and a guy who almost exclusively spots up. It's all being set up for him to have an incredible season. Like historically good, shooting-wise.

Slightly off topic.. People are sleeping on GS. It's been said for a couple years now...but with the way Klay/Draymond Green/Curry are developing and a legitimate offensive system in place, I think it's serious this time around - the Warriors are going to be a nasty, nasty team come playoff time if they're healthy.

Kobe's going up against Harden in the season opener

:kobe: hasn't played an NBA game for basically a year
:kobe: is known to be an attention whore, who's out for personal glory, what else is there to do on a team with limited offensive weapons?
:kobe: likes to shoot a lot
:kobe: is going up against D-Ho the first time since he left LA, Harden is basically his replacement

James Harden is not a great defender, remember Kobe dropping 42 with him mainly guarding him in the Playoffs or 39 in 2013

This is as good of a chance as any to drop 50 if KB's feeling it - Harden's defending him and the game is close for him to be on the floor, Houston likes a high-paced game, so more shot attempts and possibly many defensive breakdowns

The problem is Bogut. If he's 100% we're a legit threat. As soon as you replace him for Lee or Speights our defense goes to shit. Hopefully Ezili can stay healthy, because he's actually a solid rim protector. regardless if Bogut gets hurt we are no longer a contender, period.

My bets on Kobe too. Doesn't feel like he has much faith in his team, and one day he's just going to say **** it and jack em up for like 52/2/7.

Either that or Westbrook getting hot from deep and going ham in one of the games where KD is still out.

If Lebron has to drop 50, the Cavs are in serious trouble.

I got Westbrook. He's going to be the first option on OKC since KD is out. When he is on, nothing can stop him.

I don't see Curry scoring 50. He can get hot from 3, so anything can happen. However, I got Westbrook to be the first one to do it.

So.. We haven't had one yet.. alot of guys are capable, I guess its between Curry, Durant, LeBron.. Maybe Anthony Davis if they feed him enough and he has the stamina (last year it was KD).

edit: Forgot Harden.. another threat here.
