These award names are great :oldlol:

We might want to post "Voting open to all posters" on the name of the thread because I'm not sure I'd look in here if I wasn't involved in the draft.

All We Do Is Get Buckets (Best Offensive Team)- Milbuck
I put Milbuck in my tier 1 (I'm pretty sure, if not it was my top tier 2 team) which seemed to be different from most. I really think his team would be almost unstoppable offensively. The inside out you could work with Ewing/Dirk along with Pennys skill set/shot creation and Kobe getting iso buckets would be incredible. Add Mullins knock down shooting and I think you have the best offensive team of the draft.

She Wants The D (Best Defensive Team)- Kshutts
Really solid defense across the board. West, Bowen, and Mutumbo would cause problems for anyone and you have a bunch of solid defenders coming off of the bench as well. I even believe that Harden could be a good defender if he had the right coach (not sure if Adleman is that coach though)

Deep Like Kim-K (Best and Deepest Bench)- Gotter
A former MVP is coming off his bench. Buffalo guy bias? Maybe. I also love Dave D and Tiny to go along with all of the great Knicks he has.

Seven Seconds or Less (Best Run and Gun Team)- BarkleyNash
Magic/Dr.J in the open court would be a fast break fantasy. Good outlet passing bigs and Kawhi in the open court to finish makes for the best run and gun team out there.

Tickets > Wins (Most Entertaining Team)- KobesFinger

CP3 throwing lobs to VC and PG sounds great and watching KG and Big Ben feed off of each other on defense would be great to watch add Iguodala's athleticism and Diaw/Ginobili's great passing and I could watch your team all day.

Spurs Tribute (Team with Best Chemistry)- Wally

His team has mostly already proven it could have chemistry in real life and you add Bill Russell, Horrry, and Terry all proven character guys I think it could only make the chemistry better. None of the added guys will be demanding shots or causing any problems so I think this one goes to Wally.

Biggest Draft Steal- Robert Parrish

CouldSoul got him really late..I considered trading up but didn't really have the picks to do it. A proven championship player with his skills should have gone way earlier IMO.

Most Surprising Pick: Allen Iverson

I'm not shocked Iverson got picked but I was shocked when he got picked and that Kurple took the chance on him as late as he did. I'm not saying if I think it'll work or not, I'm undecided on that still but I think it was a bold move by Kurple and was the only pick I was really shocked by.

All We Do Is Get Buckets: Millbuck cuz he has the best coterie of jump shooters.
She Wants The D: Raider Fan #19, length plus the Mook at the point
Deep Like Kim-K: HangintheAir/Cold Soul/Millbuck
Seven Seconds or Less: BarkleyNash, Magic + Dr. J?
Tickets > Wins: Wally World's Bad Boys plus Russ and Yao :oldlol:
Spurs Tribute: Kshutts, character-wise.

Biggest Steal: Magic plus Dr. J :facepalm
Surprising Pick: KG that high :facepalm

For Biggest Steal, I look to the team that found a very key cog later than normal. We expect that from the first round or two.
That said I nominate myself for Karl (in the third round, really?)

But I think Kurple wins this with Billups, whenever he was chosen. Billups, after KAJ, is the defining member of his team, IMO. And he got him pretty late, IIRC.

Most Surprising pick is Pop going in the second round.

Season storylines:

*On Team Cold Soul, will Shawn Kemp keep pace with Wilts average of 2.5 women per night?

*On Team Buffalo, who will win the season long 1on1 rivalry between Rodman and Noah that started way back in training camp? It's still zero-zero in game 1, talk about excitment!

*When Team Kobe's Finger plays Team Hangin and the inevitable brawl ensues between Big Ben and Artest who's back will Jermain Oneal have this time?... Side note would the Shaq/Serge tagteam be the toughest duo in the league? Thinking maybe Moses/Cowens or Mailman/Gilmore could give them a run...

*Paternity test reveals that Dr J is in fact the father of Giannis...

*League wide epidemic, which disgruntled bench superstar will demand to be traded first!?

All We Do Is Get Buckets: Millbuck - Kobe and Dirk 2 of the most unstoppable offensive forces in league history, then you add in Penny, Ewing and a knock down shooter in Mullin, plus that offensively loaded bench?!

She Wants The D: Buffalo - Couldn't vote for myself :( But if we are judging based on the 5 best defensive players a team can put on the floor, Glove/MJ/TAllen/Rodman/Noah or Thurmond will blow all of us out the water.

Deep Like Kim-K: Kurple - Didn't just look at talent, but how the bench complements the starters. Great specialist roleplayers in Hinrich/Prince/Eaton, Bosh/Bobby Jones offensive-defensive tandem, and I like sophomore AI playing the heat check role. HM to Buffalo.

Seven Seconds or Less: Barkleynash - Surprised it isn't a sweep. Sabas/Pettit/Vlade great outlet passers, McDyess/Kawhi both very underrated fastbreak players. Oh did I mention Magic and Doctor fkin J?!

Tickets > Wins: MP Trey and AboutBuckets - Sorry, but I HAD to give it to both teams. Nash/Hondo/Hakeem all amongst the most entertaining to lace em up, and young Sampson, Reggie Lewis, Amare and Drazen are highlights waiting to happen. On the otherhand we have Kidd/Walton and their wizardry, smooth ol' Iceman, and Worthy and Barkley wrecking mayhem on the rims. WOW the price I would pay to watch these 2 teams play  :applause:

Spurs Tribute: Barkleynash - I like the international flavour in Sabas/Oscar/Vlade, and Magic/Pettit are both the ultimate locker room guys. Probably the least potential lockerroom/chemistry issues too with that group.

Biggest draft steal: Magic Johnson at #13(!) :facepalm

Biggest surprise: Donyell Marshall - Absolutely random pick (wasn't popular, not crazy talented/successful, not exactly a successful roleplayer). Surprised no one mentioned LINSANITY :rant

Its because the new season has begun. There have already been around 20 Kobe threads, a Bosh one and some team threads. Wait until later when the Bulls and Cavs play

EDIT - repped for the effort btw. I'll probably rep everybody in the draft
