Very sad story. I don't even remember hearing about the incident. Mookie was one of my favorite players from his era. Dat versatility!

When I was a little kid I used to love OU and Mookie Blaylock was one of the first stars I remember.

Then I got older and wiser and went to OSU. Still fond memories of Mookie.

Also, Pearl Jam was originally named Mookie Blaylock but were forced to change the name.
