FULL QUOTE (title had to be abbreviated, thanks Jeff):
"I texted him actually that I was proud of him and I was proud to be his teammate," Nowitzki told ESPNDallas.com on Sunday. "We had an unbelievable run.
"I told him that if you would have told me a 6-foot white guy from Canada was going to be back-to-back MVPs, I would have said you're absolutely nuts. He had an unbelievable ride.

There's no way that's the top of Nash's head, unless it's completely flat. CP is definitely 5-something, tho and I'd guess Nash is probably around 6-1 or 6-2.
He's listed 6-3, anyway...

Oscar and maybe Stockton are better traditional PGs. Stockton had a beta mentality tho and couldnt score like CP. Magic is the GOAT PG but it was b/c of his size he isnt as traditional or skilled as those 3
and is you moe:biggums: :biggums:

You can hate Nash all you want, but you cannot say he's not an all-time great. By all measures, he clearly is. Is he not one of the greatest offensive PGs of all time? Is he not a top 10 PG of all time? That means he's all-time great. No way around this. Stop being silly. :kobe:

Why don't you just admit you're embarrassed about your post count so you switched to this one because you can't handle the criticism.

Are you retarded and not understand that's an even worse situation or did you feel the need to simply mention it?

Well Cousey did it in 1957 and was a 10x all NBA 1st teamer so he was probably close to getting it again at least another one of those years. I wonder if people look at his MVP the same way they look at Nash's?

IMO, Nash/Amare absolutely was a better fit for Nash's pg skills than Nash/Nowitzki (and iirc there even was an interview where Dirk himself made this point), but there are at least three other factors at play: the suns medical staff (Nash had back problems in his last Dallas years), D'Antoni's sytem, which fit Nash perfectly (can anybody imagine Nash thriving under Avery Johnson, for example?) and the fact that after leaving Dallas and signing that huge contract, Nash had that extra bit of motivation which he would've lacked in Dallas.
On the other hand, Dirk might've taken a lot longer to become the man in Dallas had Nash stayed.
So, we've got the rare case of two MVP-caliber players who actually liked playing with each other but were probably holding each other back a bit.
