Yep. Also it is a PSA from the Croatian government. It's not real.

Also if it was real, what kind of brainless attention ho is this? She obviously knows getting beat on is bad, as she's documenting her abuse with selfies. But instead of taking the time to get away from the abuser and do anything about it, she just continues to stay with him, take the hits and take more selfies of herself.

It's kind of like the chicks in highschool who would take selfies of their cut up arms and wrists and then post it on myspace-IF IT WAS REAL.

At the end, we discover that the whole thing is actually a Croatian public service announcement that’s meant to draw attention to the widespread problem of domestic violence. The sign held up at the end reads: “Help me, I do not know if I can wait for tomorrow.”

No one was actually hurt in the making of the photographs and video (all the injuries you see were created with makeup), and the video is simply one that takes advantage of an online fad/meme to make a powerful point.



Even if it was real, would you also be cringing that the girl would rather take selfies of herself and make a youtube video if she fears for her life, rather then try to escape the abuser?

She obviously knows it's wrong or she wouldn't have bothered to document the year of abuse with selfies, and is doing nothing at all to get away.

That is hypothetical, if it was real of course.
