Should Josh Smith, Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond play together?

It's possible that Greg Monroe will be used off the bench, sometimes at PF sometimes at C, backing up Smith and Drummond.

From Michigan Live: "You're going to have some problems with perimeter defense," playing the three together, [Stan] Van Gundy said. "You know that you're not going to be able to spread the floor out a lot offensively. So that lineup's got to do what that lineup should do, which is control the paint at both ends and dominate the boards at both ends."

I say we play all 3 not as much as last year - which is good.

But I also believe that if we play all 3 together it will work a lot better than it did last year thanks to SVG coaching...

Obviously not. This isn't even a question. There's thousands of minutes together from last year illustrating how bad they are together.

I think depending on the match ups it can work for certain stretches. They all need minutes so we're going to see it some no matter what. If Monroe comes off the bench all season that means we have no chance of keeping him.

There are plenty of minutes to go around. Only 2 of them need to be on the court at one time together.

Nobody is going to want to stay on a team to come off the bench when they should be a starter.
