Had they traded #29 from this draft + Perkins in June, they could have likely gotten Affalo in a contract year. They weren't planning on using that pick for this year, anyway.

Signing a minimum FA center could have rounded out the frontcourt rotation anyway. I mean would starting Adams + Affalo and having Ekpe Udoh or Miroslav Raduljica to be a bench guy make them overall worse?
