Huge Lakers fan since about '97-'98.

My fandom followed Shaq as a second grader. Also, my uncle and I are very close and he's a lifetime Laker fan for like 45 years. Winning the 2000 gold ball was one of the highlights of my sportshood. Particularly the Game 7 comeback against POR. What a memory

I am looking forward to this game. Folks forgetting about Kobe. Folks talking trash about Kobe. Oh boy. You might as well walk around a lions den wearing a pork chop suit then disrespect Kobe. I can not wait for this one.

Dont care if you love or hate Kobe or the Lakers, one thing is for certain - if the Lakers are in contention, it drives media interest in the NBA and casual fans up significantly. Same with NY Knicks. If these teams have decent seasons, the league is more fun to watch for the general public.
