26/6 on 65% in 29 mins...back to basket...fadeaways...bunch of streaky 3s...looks like his handles are tighter now too...and lastly clutch.
Let's hope he stays healthy as his/the Heat's story is just as good as Lebron, Kobe, Rose, Westbrook, etc.

Wish he would have looked like that last June, but hopefully he is healthy and ballin' out this year. Without him my favorite player is probably still ringless. Respect! :applause:

he's fresh right now, we all (well most us know excluding some morons) that Wade is top 5-10 when healthy and firing on all cylinders.
all about attrition with Wade though, how will he look on b2b's, 4 games in 5 nights on a long road trip, in the 2nd round after playing 70+ RS games and the first round etc.
I'm encouraged but wary, I've seen this movie before. Glad BRAWN is gone though, watching my Heat is fun again. No more bogged down, stagnant offense and deliberately catering to lebron.

Pulling for DWade and Kobe, far as them looking spry and superstar caliber. When they're right, the league is in a better place.

i'm interested in seeing how dominant the cavs can be in comparison to the Heat, with lebron playing with two NON-athletically dominant stars - skilled sidekicks, as opposed to guys like Wade and Bosh that could overpower with athleticism.
i think it should make a difference, and it could make a difference offensively just as much as defensively, although pinpointing how exactly it will make a difference is just conjecture and speculation at this point...
like, there was nothing more dominant than Lebron hitting a hard-cutting Wade with a pass for a finish... or having Wade be 100% and therefore being a perpetual threat to overpower any interior defense in a way that Kyrie can't... (to me, Kyrie is a little better version of Jordan Crawford... a chucking small guard, ugh).
but with today's spacing, i'm wondering how valuable athleticism is on the offensive end - like, the Spurs showed that you just need good ball movement and you can get an open shot everytime... that might benefit lesser athletes like Love and Kyrie more and they might play quite well alongside lebron, provided lebron isn't a ball-stopper (so far in his career, he has been).
either way, i'm looking forward to learning something about how athleticism affects today's game, since we have the perfect empirical data on super-athletes playing as lebron's sidekicks, and now we'll have data on lebron playing with lesser athletes as his sidekicks, so we can compare how the play is different.

He looked great in the preseason, better than he's looked in several years. You can tell he put a lot of work into his jumper and post game. I expect him to have an outstanding season.
Any word on the heat starters?

For sure. I like me some Beal, Klay, Lance, etc...but they just don't have that essence of a superstar representing the league.

getting back with his old trainer
i wouldn't be surprised if there's an upward tick in his performance along with T level in his urine

he also gets to play primary ballhandler like he had his entire career before lebron got there.
seriously, i always wonder - if the Heat were that good with lebron and wade not playing well together (it's very well-documented and the stats prove as much), imagine how dominant they would have been with Jordan playing off-ball and allowing Wade to play to his strength as the primary ballhandler like he did with Pippen...
how good could they have been if Wade never underperformed and was able to play to his strengths?
then we really WOULD have seen "not 5, not 6, not 7"... probably 6 for 6 if i had to guess... :lol

Hopefully he can stay healthy enough to have a "I'm still here" type of year.
