Who would be a star if they played for another team?

Not Duncan. Not Parker. Maybe Leonard?

Amazingly they stay competitive every season. Unreal.

Every single player in this organization is committed to play defense and offense as a team. Pop is the best coach in the league. Oh and Parker is an All Star. And probably Kawhi too this year.

Amazingly they stay competitive every season. Unreal.Duncan put up 15/10/3, with great defense, and he didn't even play 30 mpg. He's still one of the best centers in the league. Parker can score 20 ppg, and get 6-7 assists easily. He's still an all-star caliber point guard.

Depends on your definition.

If everyone who isn't a star is a role player, maybe.

But Bosh isn't more impactful than Duncan. Is he a role player?

What is Duncan's role? To be his team's second leading scorer, defensive anchor and emotional leader?

What i find amazing is that people still can think like that! It is not because players decide to put less numbers for the team (because there is less ISO) that they dont have the talent to do so.

Spurs' players are able to operate this teamplay system at such high level because they are individually VERY talented!

They have three elite players at three positions and then very solid role players like Leonard, Mills, Splitter, Bonner, Green, Bellinelli.

It's basically a system of three go-to-guys flanked by spot up shooters

Agreed.

Way to beat them? Run, Run, Run. Not that easy to shoot 50% from 3pt range and set your defense, when your old legs are tired. The Mavs did it at the end of the 4th quarter to come back from 10 down quickly.

On the Spurs they are all role players. On another team they are all stars. That's the Spurs.
