Inhumans? Captain Marvel? Doctor Strange? Black Panther?
Does anyone give a shit about those characters? They're all D level super heroes. Marvel doesn't have the rights to X-men, Spider-man, and how many more movies can you have with Iron Man and the Hulk in it before people get bored.
Meanwhile...
DC is about to drop Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Suicide Squad with Lex Luthor, and MOST LIKELY a solo Batman movie with a different actor going into his backstory which means a new Joker.

X-Men and Spider-Man are still part of the Marvel universe. Nobody gives a shit about which company is putting out the product, the movie still has a giant MARVEL logo at the beginning of it. :oldlol:
Now for the actual facts, DC isn't going to win this war, not at the box office and not with critical acclaim. Unless you base your opinion on pure delusions not grounded in reality.
Since the superhero craze started here is what DC put out.
The Dark Knight (2008) - 185 million budget, 1 billion box office, 94% on Rottentomatoes.
Watchmen (2009) - 130 million budget, 185 million box office, 65% on RT.
Jonah Hex (2010) - 47 million budget, 11 million box office, 12% on RT.
Green Lantern (2011) - 200 million budget, 220 million box office, 26% on RT.
The Dark Knight Rises (2012) - 230 million budget, 1.1 billion box office, 88% on RT.
Man of Steel (2013) - 225 million budget, 668 million box office, 55% on RT.
And they have Batman v Superman coming in 2016. Nothing in 2015.
Here is Marvel in the same time frame.
Iron Man (2008) -140 million budget, 585 million box office, 93% on RT.
The Incredible Hulk (2008) - 150 million budget, 263 million box office, 67% on RT.
Punisher: War Zone (2008) - 35 million budget, 10 million box office, 26% on RT.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) - 150 million budget, 373 million box office, 38% on RT.
Iron Man 2 (2010) - 200 million budget, 623 million box office, 73% on RT.
Thor (2011) - 150 million budget, 450 million box office, 77% on RT.
X-Men: First Class (2011) - 150 million budget, 353 million box office, 87% on RT.
Captain America (2011) - 140 million budget, 370 million box office, 79% on RT.
Ghost Rider 2 (2012) - 57 million budget, 132 million box office, 18% on RT.
The Avengers (2012) - 220 million budget, 1.5 billion box office, 92% on RT.
The Amazing Spider Man (2012) -230 million budget, 758 million box office, 73% on RT.
Iron Man 3 (2013) - 200 million budget, 1.2 billion box office, 78% on RT.
The Wolverine (2013) - 120 million budget, 414 million box office, 69% on RT.
Thor 2 (2013) - 170 million budget, 644 million box office, 65% on RT.
Captain America 2 (2014) - 170 million budget, 713 million box office, 89% on RT.
The Amazing Spider Man 2 ( 2014) - 200 million budget, 706 million box office, 53% on RT.
X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) - 200 million budget, 740 million box office, 92% on RT.
Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) - 170 million budget, 752 million box office, 91% on RT.
There is Avengers 2 in 2015, along with new Fantastic Four and Ant-Man.

Repeat after me: shared cinematic universe. LOL
So you are using arbitrary irrelevant criteria to separate the garbage DC put out while also downplaying the success of Marvel properties like Spider Man/X-Men? Seems legit. :oldlol:
Even the SHARED CINEMATIC UNIVERSE shits on DC. Look at my list again and take out Spider Man, X-Men and other stuff, Marvel still shits on DC, especially if you take out The Dark Knight trilogy since it's not a SHARED CINEMATIC UNIVERSE. Man of Steel was worse in every objective criteria than Cap 2, Guardians and even Iron Man 3 for ****s sake.
But somehow the trend will suddenly stop and people will wanna see ****ing Aquaman, Suicide Squad with Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman, and Shazam? Like I said you have no actual facts to back up your bullshit, nothing at all.

It got too Marvel at the end. Daylight and Batman's in costume, the city is literally going to get destroyed if you don't find the bomb, etc. It traded in drama and performance for cheap thrills and summer blockbuster material i.e. the batwing.
Bane was great though.
Selina Kyle was miscast. Needed a sexier actress and more screen time. Less clothes too.

SHARED CINEMATIC UNIVERSE list...
DC
Man of Steel (2013) - 225 million budget, 668 million box office, 55% on RT.
Marvel
Iron Man (2008) -140 million budget, 585 million box office, 93% on RT.

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) - 170 million budget, 752 million box office, 91% on RT.
So Man of Steel barely made more than Thor 2, received worse reviews. Got killed by Iron Man 3, Cap 2 and Guardians in both categories but its shared cinematic universe will somehow beat Marvel's already established franchises? I will just keep updating the list and watch your retardation unfold over the years.

Notice how Cap 2 made more then Cap 1?
Thor 2 more then Thor 1?
Notice how they ALL got a boost after Avengers?
Ok. Take 5 minute and try to process that in your pea size brain then answer my next question.
What did Man of Steel get a boost from?
Jackass.
Those RT scores are skewed because everyone is on the Marvel bandwagon as well. GOTG was not THAT good. Iron Man 2 a 73% with Rotten Tomatoes LMAO.

It got a boost from being ****ING SUPERMAN???????? YOU KNOW THE MOST POPULAR SUPERHERO IN HISTORY OF COMICS OUTSIDE BATMAN?
You are still dodging the question though, if these "boosts" are so important how did the unknown ****ing "Guardians of the Galaxy" somehow make more than "Man of Steel" and receive better reviews? Nobody even knew who the **** Peter Quill, Groot or any of those mother****ers were yet they outperformed the ****ing SUPERMAN movie? Perhaps putting out quality product is more important than "boosts" and name recognition alone?
And of course you ignore RT scores and claim everyone is on the "Marvel bandwagon". Do you have your tinfoil hat on as well? RT scores are the closest thing to an objective measure of quality considering they take into account all major site and publication reviews and gather them in one place.

Not lately, his best movie was Watchmen and since then he has just made loud mindless action flicks just like Bay. Except his don't make as much money.

I always wondered why they didn't make a movie about Joker.
The timing was perfect with Heath Ledger's amazing performance and sudden death. I don't know if a new actor can perform it as good as him but it sure would make money. Just get some big name....maybe Johnny Depp as Joker. People love this guy.
Why are you comparing the movies when the people who are responsible for these films are different and hence the movies themselves aren't a depiction of the characters but the people who made the movies...

Affleck will totally have his imprint all over the DC universe, and if anyone thinks this is a bad thing they are out of their ****ing mind. He is doing amazing shit behind the camera now. He already got his screenwriter to fix BvS, and that's just the beginning. I can guaranteed BvS will feel a lot different than MoS in every way. Also Marvels movies are great but their entire box office success and ratings are all influence heavily by the Avengers. Only Ironman and the Incredible Hulk was not affected by Avengers. What i mean by this is that cap 1 and thor was created with the sole purpose of hyping up for the avengers. Ironman 2 and IH are shittier films than MoS IMO. thor 1&2, Cap1, ironman 3, are all on the level of MoS in terms of quality. IM1, GotG, and Avengers are better than MoS.
So rite now IMHO its IM2, IH<MoS=Thor1&2, Cap1,IM3<GotG<Avengers<IM1.

I want the DC movies to be good and give Marvel some decent competition at the box office, since their only current competition is coming from...other Marvel franchises that they don't own.
It blows my mind how bad DC is with their non-Batman properties when it comes to movies. I mean, they own ALL of them. Marvel has to use leftovers and scraps that studios didn't give a shit about when they were buying the film rights in the 90s. DC has the two most famous heroes in the history of comic books, and the most famous female hero...and they've only been able to do Batman right in recent years. Marvel took a second tier boring character (Iron Man) and turned him into a hero who's popularity rivals Batman. DC has Superman...a character so iconic that the fvcking word SUPERHERO comes directly from him...and made a movie so bad that they needed to cram Batman in the sequel in order for anyone to be interested in it. Meanwhile, Marvel takes a bunch of shitty loser characters that nobody cares about and makes the highest grossing film of the year.

Hit it right on the head. Also, I don't want to go too off-topic, but how would TDKR have went if Heath Ledger hadn't died? What would've happened? Maybe Batman would've actually been killed in the end instead of overcoming all those villains.

Man of Steel is like the sixth Superman movie, in what way did it need a boost? Not to mention there have been what 3 or 4 Superman TV shows as well not counting animated ones.
Not to mention that when Man of Steel came out, there were rumors of Joseph Gordon Levitt playing Batman in an upcoming Justice League movie, thereby connecting it to Nolan's trilogy.
Superman isn't some total unknown character like Guardians of the Galaxy were.
