Whose seen it? In theatres now. Go see this movie. It's a revenge flick directed by 2 guys who worked as stuntman and other work on Fight Club and The Matrix. Shoot outs are epic

9/10 for me.
86% on Rotten tomatoes.

I described this movie as "Basically "The Equalizer" with a white guy except instead of beating up a little girl the bad guys killed his dog" to my friends, will see it this week.

It shoulda been, poor DC could use the RT scores of this movie. It's higher than anything they have gotten in past few years. :lol

It's not part of the Marvel cinematic universe either.

Just so we're CLEAR.

It's definitely part of the "Taken" cinematic universe along with "The Equalizer" and other similar movies. They should do a team up movies with all those guys. :oldlol:

I'd actually watch that. Except Denzel from Man on Fire vs John Wick.

Money. He's one of the few actors in Hollywood that has a 20 million fee for each movie, so he makes the same shit over and over again.

I wanted to see John Wick last week but didn't get around to it, and I may go this weekend with less to do. But generally I'm enjoying this little retro trend of practical fx, well choreographed, well shot action movies. I suppose Taken sort of started this trend, but there's been a lot since then. Despite some of it's rediculous cheesiness, I quite enjoyed The Equalizer. It all feels like a throwback to the era that spanned from Charles Bronson to Steven Segal when I was a kid. And they're all great basic cable movies.

American Gangster?? Nonsense though. His resume is extensive and is one of the greats. I think age caught up to Denzel. He's 60.

Two Guns was fun though.
