What do you think is his ceiling? The kid had a great game against the Lakers with 16 points, and 13 rebounds. He's getting better every year.

For Terrence to take that next step, he needs to be more physical on defense and re bound the ball. Last night he rebounded with vigor and scored well around the hoop. His defense still was not great, but it was an obvious improvement from last season. He runs the floor well, he can stretch the floor to help Dwight by stretching the floor and punish the doubles on Dwight . He can also put the ball on the floor creat himself and run the floor with the ball. His max is 18 and 9 a night player.

he's legit one of the fastest guys in the league running the court imo. he needs to improve his shooting, but he's still young. not sure i understand the rebounding criticism. his per 36 last season was at 9.1 w/ the vast majority coming from DRB. not even sure who to compare him to. maybe a less defensive oriented, less skilled prime marion? basically a marion lite?

His defense is atrocious gets lit up by any decent big he goes up against
he made Aldridge look like KAJ

That the next step for his development.

maybe a less skilled lamar odom?

they are around the same size, smooth but not elite athletes for their position. both leftys, good on the boards, and can handle and pass the ball pretty well for a power forward. lamar was good enough to play point guard, jones isnt at that level, but hes still fairly skilled for a pf.

Everybody will loke like the second coming of Jordan against the Lakers.

He is a great, great rebounder.

If he were on a bad team I think he could easily put up something like 17/12 on decent percentages. He's a really bad defender, (not sure why, he's got the athleticism) but he's a baller. He routinely puts up 14/13 games like he did last night just from put-backs and points in transition.

I really like Terrance Jones. Especially in the current league where he can stretch some at the PF position and still change ends. He reminds me a little of Tim Thomas from back in the day. Similar size and build. Sort of between positions. Similar streaky ability to stretch the floor. Similar defensive issues. Similar in athletic ability to change ends. Similar in that they both seem a little spacey and therefore are inconsistent. Terrance Jones is probably a better rebounder, but TT wasn't put on the floor as a number two rebounder as often as TJ has been even in just a few years.

TT probably had more game off the bounce. But he also probably came along at the wrong time, and guys like him just didn't have a role they way they do now. And that said he still landed a huge contract once. I bet TT would be an asset in the league today.

I'd like him to have a back up 4 that can defend...

Because he can't defend

Davis
Aldridge
Griffin
Duncan
Ibaka
Lee
Dirk

And that's just the PFs in the western conference.

He's stupid. No knowledge of the game, but purely as an athlete he's impressive.
