Excited to have Lance Stephenson? Heck of an intense backcourt in Charlotte this year!

The AP reports: Indiana's Frank Vogel said Stephenson is one of the most coachable players he's ever worked with. He and Hornets coach Steve Clifford believe Stephenson could become a perennial All-Star.

The atmosphere was more electric than any playoff game I've been to. Before the game they saluted the '88-89 team with Al Cureton, Kelly Trapuka, Dell Curry among others being honored. Hats off to Jordan and co. for executing the rebranding.

We were out of control offensively and totally inept defesively for 2 1/2 quarters but then something clicked toward the end of the 3rd quarter. Lance, who was shooting horribly, started contributing in other ways with some key rebounds and assists. Marvin Williams and Kemba hit some key shots culminating in Kemba's 3 to send it into overtime. If anything this game gives us hope for what is possible with this team once they gel.
