Who can stop them? No one in the East. Warriors are mad overrated. Maybe the Clippers? Thunder can't without KD. Spurs for sure. That's it.

You act like they defeated the Spurs by 40. It's the Knicks.

Guaranteed they start 8-0, 7-1 at worst. Bump this thread.

We need a system where a poster who gets negged to a certain amount of reds get a ban.

Every year ESPN has a 72-10 watch. Used to be KG's Celtics or Kobe's Lakers. This year Chicago will be on the 72-10 watch.

No, we had a good night. We will be fortunate to get 60 wins. However we will beat Cleveland

This team is talented. But not good enough for 70 win. Maybe 62

Relax bro. Relax.

Its just one game.

Every year there's a 72-10 watch just like the 72 Dolphins watch for undefeated teams like last years Kansas City Chiefs and they pop bottles when the last undefeated team loses.

What other team can possibly challenge Chicago for 72 wins this Season? Spurs...that's it.

I love this team, but to think any team in a league like this could win over 68 games is just silly. Especially a team without a top 5 player. But they are gonna be a good team for the next 2-3 years.

To think Rose isn't winning the MVP is silly...

Jordan retires in 93...Pippen is the best perimeter player in the league, PERIOD the 1 and 3/4ths year he's gone. Start of 1996...they have the two best perimeter players in the league...the two best perimeter defenders in the league...the two best all around perimeter players in the league. They fill the ONE weakness with the loss of Grant...Dennis Rodman. People need to shut up about surpassing the Bulls. Frankly, Phil played Jordan and Pippen too many minutes (he has always overworked his stars) and it showed when Pippen was riddled with various injuries and pains throughout the playoffs.

In the end, the reason they could win 72 games is because their two best players were also the best defensive players at their position and in Pippens case, the best perimeter defensive player in the league. You add Rodman and that's why they are the ONLY TEAM to be 1 in offense and defense. Lebron is not as good as Pippen defensively and his offense didn't make up for that. Wade actually was as good or better than Jordan in 96 (yes jordan in his defensive prime is better), but Lebron was no Pippen as far as defense goes. Bosh was obviously no Rodman.

This Bulls team is not going to be close to the BEST OFFENSIVE TEAM, so no they have no chance at 72 wins. You'd be reaching to say 62 wins.

why you gotta jinx us man? I say close to 60 with no barring injuries, our bench looking pretty solid and hopefully, Thibs uses them

I love my Bulls start and the chemistry they showed last night. But it's a long season and they are adjusting to having Gasol, having Rose back, and all of the chemistry/teamwork issues that entails. Maybe 60 wins in the weak EC. Expecting 72 wins is just foolish.

Man...to hell with 72 wins this season. I just want to see a healthy Rose play 72 games (or more) this year.

I do like this team and expect to have a fun season as a fan though.
