In what context, this season, all time?

Manu was a superstar for a Playoff run and a regular season (05, 11)

Wade was a superstar for 6 years.

1, 2, 2 on title teams

4, 2/1, 2, 3 on title teams

Ginobili is my favorite basketball player of all time, but come on now.

I can't believe the level that people on ISH bring Wade down to. Under appreciated as hell. Top 3-4 SG to ever play the game. Ginobili is a great basketball player, and one of the best international talents of all time, but this is a bit ridiculous.

The only reason why someone would pick Manu is because they don't like black people.

We will never know what Manu could have been had he been the featured player of a team or if he came here as a youngster

This is too tough to decide.

The problem is peak health Manu is still only a 33 minute player.

You're franchise guy can't be playing 29 minutes every night. :confusedshrug:

Well I just don't know. I just remember back in the day when Duncan would get hurt he would absolutely tear my Mavs a new assshole.

Not like Wade was too durable himself either, essentially breaking down by 30.

Consider Manu was 26 when he came into the league.

Manu is probably better than wade at everything except midrange and possibly dunking, and even then it's close.

Instead of ad hominems, why don't you state what aspects of basketball Wade is better at.

defense-no
shooting-no
setting up the offense-no
passing-no

So tell me which of these I am wrong about?

For the record I have watched both of them for their entire career.

We talking prime Wade? If so he is better than Manu at every aspect of basketball except 3 point shooting.

Nowhere near the defender Manu is/was and not as good a playmaker.

I'm not sure why people are acting like this is some sort of affront.

Wade has the greatest Finals performance ever but other than that most of his postseason efforts have been lackluster. Ginobli's 04-05 Finals was excellent and he has 4 rings. This is a lot closer than what you want to think it is.

Awesome, quoting one of the most overrated novelists only helps prove you're wrong.

Wade has been historically a subpar defender. he only suddenly became good when ESPN was pushing Lebron and the Heat on everyone.

Look it up, watch the games, read the analysis prior to 10-11.

He made three All-Defensive teams, and finished in the top 10 in DPOY voting twice, including 3rd in '09. Hardly the resume of a "subpar" defender

Twain is a fantastic novelist.

You, on the other hand, seem to be a clueless imbecile. Wade has the far superior peak, and he has 6,000 more regular season points, 1200 more regular season assists, 1000 more playoff points etc. despite Manu entering the league first

Better averages, better total numbers, more accolades: the better player.

Again, Wade came into the league as a good NBA defender already; it was Lebron that took 4-5 years in the NBA to learn how to play defense. Wade has always been a good defensive player - i suggest you look it up and read the analysis.

2008 Draft Express Scouting Report (before Bron):

[QUOTE]Defense: Plays tremendous defense when healthy and motivated. Will make game changing plays by reading passers and anticipating drives. Creates a lot of turnovers by being active with his hands. Makes some spectacular shots as a shot blocker. Doesn

Manu a better defender? Wade has 4 All-NBA defense teams. Hes the GOAT shotblocker for a guard. Had seasoms of 2+ SPG and seasons of 1+BPG as a guard. Higher steal and block averages for his career than Manu and was top 10 in DPOY twice, including 3rd in 2009.
