dubeta

After Bosh's great performance tonight, people have taken notice in ISH, some even claim he's up there with AD as a top 2 PF in the NBA

So is it safe to say the majority in ISH think Bosh >> Kevin Love? Is that what people are saying?

Please discusss

The different is pretty negligible imo

The gap probably isnt that big, but no.

Bosh is a better defender and more skilled scorer.
Love is the better three point shooter and rebounder and passer.

Hope that clears things up.

Love is a better rebounder and outlet passer. Bosh is a better finisher around the rim, better at going inside and a better midrange shooter and also a much better defender. Their 3 ball game is a wash. They're as close as it gets.

LeBron is directly correlated w/ this question, as he has played with both Love and Bosh. Smarten up.

It's interesting that if Bosh puts up good numbers on his first game of the season, he is automatically better off without LeBron. I guess we could say the same about Westbrook, but to an even higher extent since he has 26 at half time without Durant.

Yea this is true

When Bosh goes for his 0 point 1 rb playoff games LeBron won't be there to save him then

Bosh will have the better stats this year...because now he's in the Kevin Love role. (to a lesser extent of course as he does play with Wade, but you know what i mean) He's going to lead the Heat in minutes and shots taken likely (wade will probably lead per 36 though) and get more touches and shots than Love. I'm sure people will say after that, that Bosh is the better player now. How many people have actually watched both enough the last couple of years to even say? Very few I imagine. I have no opinion on who is better...because I frankly just don't care. :confusedshrug: It's not on my mind...

Uh.. most people have watched him.. heat had tons of televised games plus 80 games worth of playoffs. He was pushed out of the midrange with Lebron.

10-18 foot touches cut in half. 1000% increase in 3's taken(not exxagerated, look it up).

Smarten up.

Love will have better rebound numbers. His points will probably dip, but his efficiency will get the LeBron boost. He's a better shooter than Bosh. Better passer than Bosh.

That being said, the defensive difference is worlds apart. Bosh is the better player.

Bosh was only "marginalized" as a player next to LeBron if you completely ignore the defensive end of the floor. :hammerhead:

Stop only focusing on a few stat sheet numbers. Bosh's Heat years were by far a better player than any of his Toronto years.

so when he said he hated playing basketball his last year with lebron, he wasn't marginalized? he was taken out of his game and pushed out to the 3 pt line because lebron cant change ever.

is it just a coincidence that bosh now looks rejuvenated with more confidence. he is beasting and not only waiting for kick outs.

I bet your posts around may-june of this year do not follow this trend. Lebron Stans never cease to amaze me. So much troll effort to put the king on the pedestal. Just hope and pray that the Cavs do not need to play the Heat in the 2nd round of the playoffs. The crow eaten on both sides of the troll toll will be a new record.

I could see arguments for both. I actually think scoring wise it's a tie. But other than that Bosh is clearly the better defender however Love is the better passer, a top shelf stretch PF, and arguably the best rebounder in the world. With all Love can do, I would take Love. But Bosh has a great case too! Bosh's scoring skillset is amon the best of all time at PF. When u think about it, Dirk, McAdoo, and Bosh all have scoring skillsets more similar to an elite swingman. It they were 6'8, all three would have been SF's flat out. It's almost like they were SF's but just a couple inches taller than most SF's.

the best big man you talk about had the worst year of his prime due to playing injured, the top 3 PF you're talking about was constantly injured and when he played, shot like shit. The two time MVP played a total of 65 games in 3 seasons for us. And Kobe? Ruptured achilles, ****face.

But please, tell me more.
