Seriously.

No homering.

With randle out, I think they won't hit 30.

If they play team ball I think they can exceed expectations and get to 35-41 wins.

If the current trend continues and a certain star player doesn't allow anyone else to touch the ball, I don't see how they get more than 25-30 wins.

In a conference as congested as the West, I'm pegging them to win around 32ish games and that might be a generous tally. It's gonna be a long season in LALA land...

They're actually worse now with Kobe than last year without him.

And that's all on Scott/losing D'Antoni.

Well, and losing Pau.

at best: 45-37
likely: 37-45
worst case scenario: 20-62 (Kobe gets injured)

We're gonna win some games at home and we're gonna beat down some lottery teams, the beginning of the season is just too brutal for us with one Playoff team after another, 2 b2bs in the first 4 games, 2nd night on the road...

we need to make a trade mid-season involving Nash's expiring and Hill or something...need to pick up some shooters real quick.

I personally don't see them winning more than 10. I will bump this thread in April when I'm right.

This Los Angeles Lakers roster isn't capable of any more than 25 or maybe 26 wins with this decrepit roster and they are easily the worst team in the Western Conference.

Let's just say that they have no worries of losing their first round draft pick next year that is top-five protected.

I'd be surprised if they win more than 20 games. This roster was mediocre at best before the injuries decimated them for another year.

And Randle, but that went out the window the very first game of the season. How big of a foreshadow will that end up being? Also Lin was supposed to trampoline into a border-line all-star from his new starting role after implying that he was mis-used in Houston. Well... his first two games tell us that he's much worse off in LA as a starter. Boozer, with everything to prove after being cast away from Chicago wants to show he can still be the same guy from Utah, and is just bricking one elbow jumper after another.

This is a team full of guys who don't know what their role should be to best maximize their team's chances of winning, and that goes all the way up to Byron Scott and Kobe. Kobe has absolutely no idea how to win with this team. And ironically I think the situation will only be exacerbated when Swaggy's shotjacking returns.

It will literally be three guys taking turns trying to knock the rim off tilt with their shots. The highlight of the season will be Kobe breaking Jordan's scoring record. The lowlight will be this team potentially being the laughing stock of the league where every team goes into Staples with an automatic "W" marked off.

Current roster = 34 wins.

Kupchak needs to get off his ass.
