View Full Version : Hard to believe Kobe is this good in his 19th season...

19 seasons. However, what's even more crazy is...

He has played all the way to the finals in 7 of those seasons.

He has played in what, 2 or 3 olympics?

In these two games, he has really impressed me. Especially last night. He is obviously one of the most skilled players of all time. However, he still seems to have a lot of athletic ability.

Looking forward to this season, even if Kobe does have the worst supporting cast in the entire NBA.

And what I saw last night was, he still has that fire. The look in his eyes. He was going out Bledsoe and got inside his head simply with hard play.

When Kobe has that look in his eyes, which is usually glossy eyed and looking invincible, he still knows he is unstoppable.

I am. Hes done. His ability to get to the rim is completely gone. Jumpers will only do so much.

You obviously didn't watch him last night go to the rim.

If you did, you are lying.

If you aren't lying, you are blind.

If you're blind, I understand.

He stat padded in garbage time. Did nothing when the score was close and was unable to stop the Suns momentum. Probably the most garbage 31 point game I have ever seen in my life. :sleeping

Lol your such a Lebron stan and troll, He was scoring in the first half pretty well on good effeciency with small minutes, while they were down. Who wouldnt shoot hella shots when there down? He was trying to catch up thats not garbage time

Lebrons team would be up by 20 and hes still in the game trying to stat pad in garbage time, get your basketball knowledge up

No one is saying Kobe is still better than LeBron but why must people insist that he's done? Players who are done don't score 31.

People want to put Lebron above Kobe as much as they can so they say irrelevant shit to make Lebron GOD or something.

I feel you OP. What Kobe is able to do on the floor now is nothing short of amazing. Can you believe he still has this many haters? Means he's still a threat, still a beast, still a GAWD amongst men.

The reason MJ was done on the Wizards was because Kobe dropped a 40 bomb in 1 half.....MJ was actually looking forward to the making a playoff push...until March 3rd happened..

Imagine trying to guard a player and he dropps 30 pts on you in like 8 minutes....Kobe sent MJ to the bench..made him cry too.

Kobe will average 22-25 ppg shooting 40-43% on a lottery type team.. Expect to see a lot of 8-23 FG nights.

Hard to believe Kobe's missing the playoffs for the 3rd straight season and will end up 1/20 in MVP's, lowest ratio of any great

19 years is very impressive longevity, but people ITT are jizzing themselves as if the Lakers are actually looking like a contender out there. No doubt some of these Kobe dickriders are the same people who were calling out Kevin "Empty Stats" Love a few years ago.

Kobe one of the best scorers ever. Like Jordan, he'd probably be able to step on an NBA court at 50 years old and still put up points. I predicted he'd average around 23ppg on 41% this year which would be similar to Wizards Jordan. However, much like Wizards Jordan, the days of him being able to truly impact the game are behind him. I still enjoy watching him though and he's still capable of vintage moments here and there.
