Wiggins has some crazy tools. But, he needs to be in the game working on his stuff. Right now he doesn't understand angles or efficient movement on the block. He things you get by you man by just doing the move faster which means he doesnt get it. He is still very young...just gotta put the work in.

Is Pek really better than Dieng? I don't see it. Pekovic is low post threat and clean up man. Dieng is a shot altering defense guy. Pekovic isn't at full power yet either. I think they're both great depending on what you need. We're a potent offensive team coming off the bench so Dieng makes that group even better. The defensive group of starters are fairly solid and not as many proven scorers so pekovic fits that group well. I'D LIKE TO SEE THEM PLAY TOGETHER. Then again maybe it'd take away from Dieng ' strength in rim protection.

missed this one til now..... it's not close at all.
Pek is up around the top 5 or 6 centers in the league on offense, and deceptively good on defense. He has 1 weakness rim protection. he's good/great at everything else. He is one of the few centers in today's NBA who can actually take over the action of an entire game for several minutes to a quarter at a time. Watch him carefully in the 4q, he gets such perfect position that he can/will box out 3 guys at once.

Dieng is serviceable. Could probably actually start on some teams.

Very true. Flip is doing a great job with him. All those isolations...he even gave him his own set. Something tells me that by the end of the season he will have a couple of monster games.

thats true. I could see that happen, he has the talent to break through tho. He is so quick that he doesn't need much to impact the game(he will always draw fouls if he is aggressive). The fact that he made that turnaround as a rookies should be scary to the entire league...thats not supposed to happen yet. If he gets that and the stepback to go with his quickness then everyone should be afraid.

What's impressive is we only played one player over 30 minutes. We could feasibly do similar most of the season. Our team could stay much fresher than most of the teams in the league. You can see the competitiveness going on with this team for a starting or even a bench spot.
