This is because LeBron has spent his whole career playing with bums and has thus had to play PG/SG/SF/PF all at the same time (interesting fact: No other player has led their team in ppg/rpg/apg simultaneously as often as LeBron "King" James). Because of this LeBron really has had no experience playing off-ball.

This isn't Kobe who's played with better players on his team for every single one of his titles (Shaq x3, Gasol x2). Or MJ who had top 15 GOAT Pippen on his team for his entire successful career. This is a guy who's best offensive teammate for the first 7 years of his career was Mo Williams.

actually you don't need to be an all star caliber player to play an above average off the ball play,, you just need a better communication between you and your teammates..and a little bit of good lateral movement to fake your defender

Good latteral movement, being crafty, same as MJ, using opponent stregth and force against him... better communication between him and MJ, the greatest duo the ever live...not only with MJ but also with his other teammates, utilizing the triagle, ..etc...

Did you just say Scottie Pippen is top 15 all-time? We're also going to act like Gasol is significantly better than Chris Bosh? No mention of Dwyane Wade ... who is superior to Pippen as well.

:oldlol:

Oh, and MJ basically imprinted his bball DNBA onto Scottie's natural gifts. Molding him into the player he became, then allowed him to blossom within the confines of the offense.

Quoting for posterity before this troll tries to delete or change it.

You heard it here, folks.

D. Wade, Finals MVP, who carried the 2011 Heat while LeBron withered, probably one of the best SGs to ever play the game, is a bum.

Chris Bosh, perennial All Star and is now beasting with LeBron gone, is also a bum.

These LeBron stans are the worst. This is pathetic. Full meltdown mode.

Because he is not & never was an off-ball player, the best player in the world is not supposed to sit there in the corner working as a spotup shooter or run around looking for scraps, unfortunately playing with a balldominant pg with questionable decision making will put him in that spot many times.

Irrelevant to the thread, but if you go down this road, then you need to explain how he was the 2nd option during the Shaq years then.

Either he was playing off the ball extremely well, getting and converting open looks due to Shaq, or he was on the ball (since he can't play off it), giving Shaq the open looks.

Jordan is the greatest player ever and he was deadly off the ball. Saying LeBron is the best player in the world so he shouldn't have to play off the ball is a ridiculous excuse. Also, playing off the ball does not mean "sitting in the corner as a spot up shooter and running around looking for scraps". That is an equally ridiculous comment and makes me question your basketball intelligence.
