They key is for Lakers to lose but Kobe to win the stat sheets, highlights, and another MVP.

Cheer for close losses, or for the occasional win against a bad team.

Can't afford fluke wins against good teams, unless we lose to the dregs of the league to compensate.

TBH though, is next year's class even that great? I've heard about Okafor's little brother, but you can never count on the first pick. Is there anyone else of note?
