Sony Xperia Z3 Compact

Anyone uses this phone? Are you satisfied with it, pros and cons? I'm thinking of buying it but can't decide between HTC and Sony.

My brother has one and I mentioned it on here, it is one of the best phones on the market. It is not a subsidized phone so you don't have to pay for "mandatory" data.

How about camera and pictures? It's very important to me since I take quite a lot of pics and videos but I'm reading reviews and a lot of people are bashing Z3's camera.

I have it, I'm personally very pleased with it but it also fits my needs well.

Main cons:
-Bloatware. There is a bunch of Sony and Google shit on there that you probably don't need but you can't delete. All in all about 20 apps that aren't necessary but you can't get rid off.
-If you decide to root your phone, you camera and sound will become shitty. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/loss-drm-keys-t2890936)
-As you should expect when you cram a strong processor in a small package, this phone will overheat quicker than bigger premium phones.
-Since it's waterproof every connection is behind a little hatch. A bit of an extra hassle when you want to charge your phone. There is a magnetic charging cable that lets you charge without opening anything, but it's not included.

Pros:
-Battery life is the best out of any smart phone bar none. No other phone (of the popular models anyway) really comes close. If you put it in stamina mode it will last you a week+ on a single charge if you use it sparsely.
-If small is you thing, this is the smallest phone on the market with premium specs.
-The build, design, sturdiness and everything is really high quality.
-A good 20mp camera (that could be a lot better if they improved the software)
-The Xperia Android UI is a lot better and less hefty than Samsung's or HTC's.
-Waterproof, PS4 remote play, NFC etc. It's not necessary but it is nifty.

I'm a Sony fanboy. If I didn't already have an HTC One (M8) I would definitely get the Z3 Compact.

I am really looking forward to holding a regular Z3 in my hand. It's between that and the Note 4 for me right now (well when my Note 2 eventually craps out).

I have a Z3. Awesome phone! Everything about it is on point

Battery life is UNREAL. and the Compact is supposed to have even better battery life :rockon:

Feels very nice in the hands, speakers are great, the interface is mostly stock android

Pretty cool you can do this with it. You can mirror your phone's screen to your TV via chromecast:

Pictures aren't so good on my tablet, but it's completely 1080p when you mirror and looks great. You can use that if you stream a lot of Ballstreams on your phone and mirror it to your TV
