Not stars. Superstars. Who has the potential? Besides Parker/Wiggins.

Drummond? Beal? Oladipo?

From what former players who are now part of the media say, Beal and Clay Thompson are the future 2 guard stars in the NBA.

I'd have to agree.

Maybe Davis?

I mean there's only an elite list of super stars. I mean there's only LeBron, Kobe, Durant, and CP3. Which players can make fans gravitate towards them, have their own commercials, be the main story on ESPN, and so on?

The question is who is the next superstar, Davis shouldn't be mentioned since he already is a superstar.

Then the answer is nobody. I don't want to discredit anyone but there's a difference between stars and super stars.

Not going to mention Irving, Wall, Cousins they they already superstars.

I don't see many promising young players with great potential in their first/second year right now.

Jabari Parker now, Okafor and Mudiay next year.

Parsons, Thompson, Hayward, MCW, OKC bench crew all have capped or only have merely star potential, no superstar potential.

Superstar being thrown around waaaaaaaaay too lightly.

I agree. There's only an elite few. In other words, that player needs to be on the level of Kobe and LeBron in terms of attention, criticism, praise, commercials, merchandise, ect.

That would also be Durant and maybe CP3 as well.

I think Davis is already borderline superstar. He's definitely the next one if he isn't already there.

You guys think Oladipo has a shot? Or does he max out at being a star that makes the all-star team a couple times.

lol what

they are borderline all-stars
nowhere near or ever will be superstars.

Right now, superstars are
Bron and Durant

Maybe Kobe (due to fame mainly)
Maybe Brow (very likely by the end of the season)
Maybe Griffin&Paul
Maybe Curry
Maybe Westbrook
That's it.
