We all know the #1 pick from the 2012 draft is already or well on his way to being a superstar, but what about #2?
MKG has always been a good defender, rebounder relative to his size, is great in the open court and can hustle like a madman.
Now it's starting to look like he is developing a respectable J, which should open up his game a lot more on offense. For someone who came into the league with some confidence issues this could be huge for him.
What do you see as his ceiling?

A glue guy with great defense? Hopefully a better version of Battier, will never shoot 3s like him obviously.

I think statistically he'll fluctuate slightly up and down from where's he's at now. Which I'm predicting 12-14ppg 6-7rpg 2apg.
With good coaching and a competitive team he should develop off the ball. Smarter decisions in rotating both offensively and defensively. Unfortunately he doesn't have the range right now to capitalize on a corner 3 and I'm not sure he ever will.
If he can develop that kind of range he could become significantly more dynamic as he ages. It would be quite the stretch to make a prediction like that right now.

Shawn Marion, Bruce Bowen et al does not have the range when they entered the league. By all accounts, MKG is a hard worker and still young. Hopefully the mid range is not a fluke and by next year he could add the 3 ball in his arsenal.

I've missed him so far this season but hows his jumper looking? Last year it became a joke. If he fixes that he could become a good defensive glue guy

I only watched their first two games and a few preseason games, but his jumper looks good. You can tell he's a lot more confident, taking pull up Js and actually making them.
He's going to be really good.

I think his ceiling is something like prime Luol Deng. But obviously more athletic and with less range.
