I broke my hand, and they didn't give me enough numbing shot.

Asshole was yanking on my hand to set it. Two seconds from passing out.

Probably the month or two leading up to me being diagnosed with an ulcer condition in my stomach (large intestine technically). I had some crazy ulcers going on that I didn't know about that would just light up on fire every time I ate. Constant pain with spikes in intensity at random intervals during the day. It was basically torture.

Getting circumcised was brutal.

Have no idea why my dad waited so long to do it. And why he refused to put me under. Said it had to be done "natural" and that it would make me a man.

He was right. Watching my father literally cut the top of my dick off at the ripe age of 14 made something in me click.

I've been clicking ever since and realize that uncircumcised folk are weak p*ussies. Especially those who reside in Europe.

Honestly I guess the worst I felt was when I was totally ill.... Like, you cant do anything. You're on the toilet but cant dont have enough strength to sit. You just dont wanna live at those times.

Had a horrible headache once... Was like screaming through the entire night.

Got stabbed three times in pretty much the same spot with some kind of a stabbing weapon that was made out of a screwdriver. Managed to throw the guy off of the bridge after getting punched and stabbed, so my ego and the phone in the pocket could stay intact, but I barely made it out alive.

My back hurt a lot last week when I couldn't get up out of bed after a back/bicep day in the gym. God knows what I did to it

He's just a wimp.

Colonoscopies don't hurt. My dad has had 3 without any anesthetics and said he was slightly uncomfortable, but not in pain. He even farted on the nurses hand as she was adjusting the tube in his rectum.

People who cry about shit like colonoscopies and zits must live very sheltered lives.

I fell 50ft out of a tree stand and broke my femur. Took an hour for someone to get on the scene. I was crying non-stop after the shock and adrenaline went away.

But somehow having a zit in your nose is a painful experience. :facepalm

It was more of a weird pain than an intense one (altho it got bad at points). The strangest part is that I could see them digging with the scope when I looked down at my stomach. It felt like the scene in Alien vs Predator where the mother gives birth to an Alien. The most painful part is the fact that they inflate you with air and then poke around in there. It feels like you're about to pop.

I was fighting a big dude in high school. He had 4 arms and was built like a train. Had a pony tail, i believe he was of asian descent.

I threw a shuriken at him during reading class, he got up and with his four arms ripped me in half. I bled to death, but i survived. Doctors told me i should feel lucky because i died.

In descending order off the top of my head:

I almost died from Scarlet Fever when I was like 6. Had a fever of over 105 for a while, couldn't eat for days, went to the emergency room.

I had back spasms for a year and didn't know what they were and didn't go to the doctor. I could barely walk. When I finally went to the doctor they were surprised I could've waited so long because they were that bad. The physical therapy hurt so bad that I almost cried on the table when she worked on me.

Dislocating my knee twice hurt really bad too, first time was much worse though.

Ripped some skin on my dick once too. Every boner was painful as hell.

Yeah, I partially dislocated my patella once but I didn't tear anything so it wasn't too bad. Still pretty painful tho and def freaky to see you're knee cap off center. Apparently I have extremely flexible tendons because the doctor was really surprised to find only a sprained MCL on my MRI.

Did you end up tearing your ACL/MCL when you dislocated yours?

I broke my leg when I was 3 years old. Can't remember the pain, but I can remember laying on the ground screaming and my parents running down the stairs to shout at my sister who pushed me off the couch we were bouncing on. Don't think I've had an injury as serious as that, so I guess that's been the most painful.

I have had a lot of emotional pain in my life that was a lot worse than any physical pain I have felt. But if we are talking about purely physical, there was a time when I was younger than I used to experiment with sex toys with some of my more outgoing sexual partners. When the toys got boring, we used to have sex in different places. Once we had sex on the beach, and the sand somehow caused us to get stuck for a while. I was stuck and I didn't want to pull it out by force because that is how you cause an **** prolapse. It pained me a lot because the hole was actually shrinking and becoming too small and chocking/chafing me. Eventually I managed to slip it out but I had to use lubricant. I think the absurdity of the situation and the fear of how wrong it could go actually added to the pain factor. But it wasn't that bad compared to a lot of others in this thread. You guys are really making me wince.

Tore some meniscus in my knee once. It didn't really hurt right when it happened, in fact I don't even know how it happened, but walking on it without crutches was pretty much impossible to do for the next few months.

Jailblazers7
11-03-2014, 05:46 PM
I honestly don't know. The first time was pretty bad, my whole left leg bent backwards like a flamingo's knee, but the doctor I went to was a too Earthy and wouldn't set up an MRI or anything. She recommended 3 weeks out of basketball, and staying immobile at home for 2 weeks icing it every hour. I think at least my meniscus is messed up. There was a lot of swelling and I couldn't move it for a couple of days. I still have no clue about what is going on in there. I lost a lot of explosion and basically stopped all sports after that.

Second time I was crouched in a frog position moving stones to make a pathway in a backyard, twisted to grab one instead of standing up and it popped in and out. Minimal swelling and sore for a few days.

Yeah, apparently meniscus problem are common after a knee dislocation because it basically gets sheared off by the force of the dislocation against the surrounding bone.

It's a toss up between breaking my wrist while playing football or dislocating my jaw.

While playing tackle football, I got blindsided and my whole body landed on my left wrist. Got up in terrible pain, but thought it was just a strain. Continued to play and eventually caught a pass or two, but the pain was unbearable. The next morning my wrist looked like the size of a grapefruit.

I have TMJ for those that know what that is and the other day I was yawning and it felt like someone took a bat to my face. My lower jaw dislocated for a brief second and it was awful.

Got hit by a 2006 Honda Odyssey when I was younger. Initial impact hurt like hell, before the adrenaline kicked in. Broke my fibula and messed up my back quite a bit from it. But made a full recovery despite getting back spams every now and then.

Also am a victim of dick skin tearing. Just a terrible experience that I don't want to ever relive.

Let's see...

I broke my wrist jumping off of a moving vehicle into the street. Everything is fine now except I can make my wrist "pop" at will.

I tore my scrotum wide open requiring stitches by falling out of a tree and straddling a fence. Everything is fine now.

I busted my forehead open by running into a glass stereo as an infant because I didn't want to go to sleep. Everything is fine now.

I would have to say that all three of these things pale in comparison the intense pain you can feel immediately after hitting your small toe on something accidentally at a high rate of speed. For example... leaving a dumbbell on the floor and walking through the house at a quick pace and hitting your toe... that shit is pretty ****ing brutal for a good 5-10 seconds at least. Even worse than tooth decay, imo, which can be brutal.

Oh... I've also had multiple inguinal hernias from overextending myself while lifting stuff... and honestly, one time I felt the muscle completely tear all at once and it didn't really hurt.

Physical pain has really never bothered me too much I guess. Emotional trauma is far more painful.

At age 13, was climbing a tree, a weak branch later i started falling from around 25-30 feet, all i could think was to wrap my head and so i fell flat on my back *POOF!* like Wile E. Coyote from a cliff...

You know how it feels like when air all of the sudden just rapidly & violently leaves your body/lungs? air just went ****IT!.... i just layed down there completely still for a long while gasping for air, coughed a bit of blood i think (could taste it somewhat), i couldnt scream, i was trying to scream.... breathing hurt for a week at least, had bruises everywhere... thankfully i didnt snap any bone....

Unlucky, but still very lucky.... could have ended much worse...

I skipped out on my pain meds the day after hand surgery so I could drive home for the weekend. The nature of my initial injury, a ruptured tendon, caused my pinkie to coil (close) with no ability to straighten it. Because of my ignorance, thinking it was just a pinkie injury, I figured the surgeon would dip in through a tiny hole and straighten whatever small issue had occurred.

Obviously, it doesn't work like that. They splayed the majority of my finger open to execute the repairs (the tendon had, in the specialist's terms, "exploded"). I didn't know any of this though, because my hand and arm were already wrapped post-surgery, so I still figured it was a small incision.

As such, I figured it wouldn't be too much of a problem to fulfill the antibiotic requirements but maybe skimp on the pain stuff, for I couldn't drive under their influence. It was a rough night. Constantly felt like the cartoon throbbing finger thing after a Looney Tune is smashed with a hammer.

I can't remember what took me so long to take the meds once I'd ceased driving for the night though. Street cred, I presume.

Emotional pain is definitely the worst I have ever felt.

Physically speaking, I snapped my shoulder in half as a kid. The fuhcking doctors needed to do x-rays so they made me move my arm all around in different positions and it was by far the most intense physical pain I have ever been in. I was in a "sound proof" room and people in the lobby could hear me screaming. Not fun. Post surgery hurt pretty bad too, but the pain in that x-Ray room was out of this world.

My lil bro caught a ricochet bullet to the temple from and AR-15 and he said it was more scary than painful

Edit: Mamba- what was it like getting bit by a black widow? How'd it happen? I fuhcking hate spiders, poisonous ones terrify me

Broke my collarbone as a child comes close.
As does chipping tooth by falling face first on a big stone as a child.

But worst was...

Recently I got sick, didn't go to the doctor because I expected it to pass in a day or two, but then I started getting infections throughout my body. Was vomiting so much (pretty much all blood coming up) I started getting these awful stomach cramps. I pretty much fell over in pain unable to move. Then my jaw swelled up the size of tennis ball. ****ing terrible. Thank science for antibiotics, seriously thought I was a goner.

Couldn't move my legs for a few minutes, agonizing pain

I washed ashore and was lying on the ground on the edge of the water for a good 20 minutes. Eventually I could move them legs but my back was killing me. Tore some of my spinal erectors and had a slight tranverse process fracture luckily no nerve damage or loss of motor function.

I've had a few painful moments, but I guess maybe time when I was showing off for a neighbor girl and setup a ball to kick on a concrete edge of the driveway. I counted the steps back and to the side like Rafael Septien, and went full bore at it like I was going to kick a 50-yard field goal. Kicked the concrete instead. OUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

If you don't mind me asking, what led to you being stabbed?

Hip fracture. It is powerful spasms up and down hip/thigh area in the bone there. It was, by far, worst pain I ever felt.

Just to put it into perspective.. Last time I cried was when I was 12 years old after a back operation. Next time I cried was trying to get hip x-ray 11 years later in hospital. I am not an emotional person and do not know how to cry. If I cried due to the fracture, that means the pain had to be severe enough.
