Kobe Bryant. Note the shoes:

But then somewhere he went astray from the Kobe formula and that's where he went wrong. Lots of bad influences and corruption throughout his life, people whispering things in his ear to play a certain way or go certain places. He should have just stuck with the proven Kobe formula.

Scary to think about how good he might have become had he emulated Kobe with the physical tools he's got. It's kind of a shame, at this point we may never know what he's capable of. He's already 30.

Kobe's alpha mentality and work ethic combined with Lebron's physical tools would create a GOAT that never could be surpassed.

Does it frustrate you that Lebron plays for Cleveland now and you're still stuck in the mud rocking that outdated Miami account? Jeff can't get around to reactivating registration soon enough can he :lol

What a shame too, because Miami are perhaps the best they've ever been this season and you will purge that account for a Cleveland one first chance you get :facepalm

When asked about his favorite player/players he always said Penny Hardaway... He mentioned also Magic Johnson as a guy who he thinks had similar games. Those are the guys he patterned his game after, mostly Penny...... and he was a Penny clone coming into the league indeed, now he is more like a supercharged Penny.

He said Jordan is just somebody he idolized, looked up to, like most of us 90s children...... but its Penny that was his guy....

In terms of basketball, I never thought I'd see something as bad as Shaun Livingston's knee injury again; but a whole team wearing Kobe robot shoes is up there.

I know man. Kobe believes in working through tough times. Lebron believes in jumping ship.

In a lot of ways Lebron is the Franchesca Schettino of the NBA. Kobe is the Gregorio De Falco of the NBA, the hero that assumed command rather than jump ship.

He wore:

TMacs
Kobes
Nikes
Jordans
Reebok Questions

In HS ... his number is 23, and he's spoken about his admiration for Penny at times. So that basically sums up the list of influences on him as a player.

wilt

regular season players who marginalize teammates and come up short in the playoffs. won rings because they are obviously talented, but more because of crazy talent on their roster even though it is marginalized. any other great player could win as much or more than those two if you switch them in.

so lebron looked up to wilt because they look for stats and reduce teammates. underachieve in playoffs

As someone who actually watched More Than a Game, he flat-out tells the interviewer that he has a wall dedicated to Kobe posters. I mean, it's right there in the documentary.
