Over a 13:1 AST/TO ratio, just insane. Clearly the best Point in the game.

People talk about Blake getting MVP but let's be real: He's not the best player on his team.

top3 defender @ PG too. None of the other elite PGs (Steph, Russ, Kyrie, Wall, Lillard etc) can say that

hes by far the best PG

Best doesn't always equate to most valuable.

During the 05-06 season, Elton Brand was the best Clipper, but they would have missed the playoffs if you swapped Sam Cassell with any PG that would have been on Sam's tier, making Sam more valuable.

As far as Curry being a better PG, that's a farce. He scores more by shooting more, but Paul is a night and day superior defender (well beyond night and day actually. Curry might be the worst "star" defender, right there with Haren), and 40 dimes to 3 turnovers? C'mon now, that is an average of 10 dimes and .75 turnovers a game to this point.

Absolute sick.

Nah Steph is a mediocre defender but hes not anywhere as bad as Hardon. Kyrie and Lillard are on that level tho

Best regular season PG since Magic....

falls by the wayside when we're talking about overall ranking, but RS-only, he's a stud. If he wins a FMVP I'd give him the nod over Isiah et al.

Curry has been great on defense this season, and I hate the warriors I have him on my fantasy team so I have been watching and have been quite impressed he seems to be highly motivated on defense so far.

Yet Westbrook bent him over in the playoffs.

Warriors will take out these floppers in the playoffs, as long as they don't get the ref pity like they did last season with the hole Sterling situation.

And Curry will shit on Paul when it matters, same goes for Westbrook. 2 of the most overrated current PGs. One has no actual skill and just runs to the paint and chucks while the other is the opposite, has skill but is a passive flopping bitch that just waits to get carried. That's why he never wins any playoff games on his own, if his team underperforms he just loses, he doesn't have any takeover ability. Curry is better than both and will prove it this season. Book it.

Cp3 will ALWAYS be the best stats point guard simply because of how he plays the game. He controls the game and does it at an elite level. However, it is extremely hard to win with a super small pass first point guard in the playoffs. If they run through Blake they had a much better chance.

It is just how basketball is designed. When Cp3 dribbles around like crazy that means 4 people are standing around. In the regular season it works great because of his superior skill and the lack of planning and prep made. However, in the playoffs teams have time (and more importantly motivation) to prepare specific schemes to minimize his impact. This doesn't mean he doesn't put up beastly stats, but just that it may not result in W's.

It is the reason he is significantly more in effective in the playoffs as compared to a wing scorer like a Kobe Bryant. In the playoffs a midrange shooting guard, or a dominating big man is always a much better way to run the offense through. When the game slows down having a wing scorer to go through to run an offense or a big man to use as a pivot/scorer/foul creater helps a lot more. The only exception is Lebron who is so huge that he bypasses normal logic.

With CP3 all teams need to do in the playoffs is put a big physical defender on him (such as Tony Allen), rough him up a little, and then start throwing double teams at him like crazy. The team around him is not used to having to do stuff since all regular season they just stood around and their offense suffers. When you have to change your style of play completely in the playoffs as compared to regular season it messes with a team. It's why Spurs, Lakers, and Celtics won so much (and to a degree the Heat). They played the same way in the playoffs and reg season.

Steph Curry is better in the sense that he can be a flat out scorer. However, he also does not have the true mentality of being that aggressor. If he had to do that the Dubs would never be true contenders. If Klay truly is what he's shown the past few games then the Warriors just took a huge leap forward. They have a go to wing player that can create offense in a playoff type way (midrange/get to the rim etc). Why Harden sucks..in the playoffs you can game plan against a trey + driver. He needs to work on playoff offense or learn how to pass the ball and move.
