They may be playing some sounds through it.
If you hear instruments that are not on stage, it's coming from the laptop.

None.
Doesn't have to be a Mac.

MAC has a software for DJ's. All my DJ buddies spin off of it.
Very beneficial.

It looks cool on stage, when you are putting on a show you need to line up everything with that on mind.

Not so much software since most of the widely used programs are cross platform based (Live, Sorrento being amongst the two most popular).
MacBooks are preferred due to their reliability.
And even the software that is cross platform runs better and at times has different features then their Windows counter parts.
Macs are simply hassle free and offer a better peace of mind overall. Nobody wants to have issues when going on stage.
I knew a DJ that was trying to run a gig on a Windows laptop, big muhfuhka but was giving him tons of issues. Luckily for him I lived 5 minutes away, we raced to my home I got my Macbook I downloaded the software, transferred his music and all was good.

It's okay, until this pops up for 5 minutes in a live performance.

Too bad I've never seen it or heard of it happening to anybody :confusedshrug:
And even if your quip were true, Macs in live performances far outweigh any pc... not even remotely close.
so they must be trusted no?

Damn. Your just dumb. Plain and simple.
Most djs use Serrato. Made by rane. Headquarters in mukilteo . Wa.
The standard. Traktor by native instruments is aight. But Serrato better.
Not exclusive for Mac.
Such an idiot.
Macs are just better with audio programs.
Pro tools, THE professional audio program wasn't available on PC for years because people that do audio know macs are just way smoother and more dependable in REAL WORLD applications, not number crunching.
Smh.
Bandwagon empire biggest fraud in message board history.
