View Full Version : Well, we are all getting confirmation that Durant is the best player on the planet.

The league just doesn't feel the same without him.

Without him making no excuses in times of injury and elevating his game. Without him hitting a game winner on opening night vs the Mavericks. Without him absolutely eviscerating the Warriors to the point of Mark Jackson telling his team in the huddle that they were ****ed.

Without him hitting a game winner over 3 defenders, or hitting one in double OT vs the Raptors. Without him burying contested three after three vs Portland leaving their players dumbfounded in their post game interviews... Or without him breaking Michael Jordan's record of scoring consistency... While almost averaging 50/40/90 shooting splits... And then going on to spend his whole MVP speech talking about everyone else.

Damn, I can't help but feel like we all took Durant for granted this off season by ignoring his play and refusing to call him the best player in the league. Well, if it wasn't clear before, it is now. And the scariest part is that reports were that he was actually looking even better in Team USA practices until he conceded his spot to Rudy Gay...

Hopefully he comes back soon and with no problems. The league just ain't the same without him.

Oh man, with the West as tough as it is I don't know if even Durant can get OKC into the playoffs now. Its going to take a miracle.

Bro

Top 5 C in Adams
#1 PF Ibaka and #5 Perry Jones III
# Lamb = Klay Thompson 2.0
# Roberson = Tony Allen 2.0

They are STACKED without KD and WB :facepalm

Nobody misses Durant, but I will say OKC games are much more watchable now that the whistle isn't blowing every 15 seconds. :applause:

damage control?

OKC only has two active guards right now. One of them is a complete scrub and the other thinks he's better than he actuallly is and overdribbles the ball too much now.

I couldn't give two f*cks about "damage control." OKC is f*cked and it sucks.

Best frontline in the NBA bro, who cares about the PG, plus you got 6th man of the year coming back in Reggie and Klay Thompson 2.0 in Lamb, just to stacked man.

theyre gonna have to play their asses off once both of them are back in the lineup to make the playoffs and once there. play through top-tier after top-tier team just to make it anywhere in the postseason. I'm hoping for them but this will probably be their most challenging year together

Yeah lol Durant is way too nice and shit off the court. If you had to pick one person from the NBA to run for president it'd be Durant's puppy holding, baby kissing, jesus praising american ass lol

The way LeBron is playing, we can finally say that KD > LeBron. Hell, so far, Wade > LeBron this season.

I just hope Wade's knee holds up for the playoffs is all. No doubt I'm hedging my bets on Wade over Bran if it's playoff crunch time. Assuming the refs don't rig shit of course.

Durant is the best player on the planet. It's clear last year. People say he performed below his average during the playoffs, but the dude only struggled against Memphis except games 6 and 7 where he beasted. His series against Clippers was clutch and yeah Spurs beat them, but no one showed up besides him and Westbrook who keeps on hogging the ball and taking some of his shots.

Also, if you put Durant on the East Conf. Playoffs, he would look 10x better.

Come on now... Lebron faced Bobcats in the first round. I like Bobcats / Hornets now since it's Mike's team I have a soft spot for them, but let's be honest, put them in the West and they won't make playoffs that year. Nets team composed of Zombies, and Indiana who lost their chemistry before playoffs. What makes you think KD won't destroy those teams.
