A subliminal message to Kyrie and Dion? :confusedshrug:

That's cause LeGOD encourages a free flowing, passing offense where each player gets an equal share of the ball, thus no selfishness. Each player gets maximized

I hope so, guards are looking like they're scared to pass the ball or they'll never see it again

kobe needs to take notes. 19 seasons in - and he still doesn't "get it".

lebron just might be the greatest leader and all-around player of the modern era.

If you add together Kyrie, Dion and Delly from the last game, they total the number of shots James took by himself.

Shot distribution went like this...

LeBron - 30
Kyrie - 17
Love - 17
Thompson - 13
Waiters - 10
Varejao - 8
Marion - 5
Delly - 3
Miller - 1

....looks about right to me. :confusedshrug:

Bran is only unselfish when his fg% is taking a hit and he wants someone else to take the shot to preserve it

I don't mean actual shots, just general ball movement. It's almost like "I'm not guaranteed to get this back so I'm gonna try and make it work while I have the ball"

Agreed. Most of Lebron's shots came after he had passed the ball and it wound up back in his hands. Kyrie on the other hand took a lot of bad shots in the Chicago game early in the shot clock without passing even once. Not gonna complain too much since he did make some of them, but the kid has a lot to learn about shot selection.

I actually think the team has been over-passing a bit too often in the first two games. Guys seem a little too cognizant of their own shot count and how many the guy next to them has, imo. There has been a reluctance, but it has been reluctance to be too aggressive if anything. LeBron was guilty of it in the first game... Love and Kyrie to a lesser extent in the second one.

It will work itself out. This team was guaranteed to have some chemistry issues at the start of the season. You can't overhaul your roster this dramatically and not have a learning curve on the floor.

I'd want shot distribution among the top guys to look as so:

James - 22
Love - 18
Irving - 18
Waiters - 14
Thompson - 12
Varejao - 10

Thats impossible, 94 shots over 6 people???

Thats not even including the snipers like Mike Miller, and also Shawn Marions shots

Your calculations are way off there. Most teams dont even attempt 90 FG attempts per game and you want the Cavs to have 94 FGA between 6 players? :hammerhead: leaving most of the bench players without a single shot too

that's funny because even when Lebron wasn't there yet, Kyrie and Dion were the biggest ballhogs in Cavs.

saying that now he's there, Lebron is :yaohappy:

I was expecting it to be so, so much worse than this. I feel like it flips between the two of our viewpoints. Some plays are "oh shit let's get everyone involved" and some are "I am not letting go of this ball". I'm exceptionally excited for tonights game as Kyrie Vs Lillard and Love vs Aldridge is gonna be two star matchups, meaning each will want the ball desperately to assert dominance, but LeBron is also...ya know LeBron he's taking 20 shots no matter what.
