View Full Version : James Harden 25/10/9 vs Heat -- Still the best SG?

I think so. Even though he hasn't been shooting so well from the field, he's still been very effective. He's also adding a lot of assists and is rebounding great. Really nice all-around season from him so far. Klay Thompson is playing amazing on the offensive end this season and his defense is really good. Surprisingly, Harden's defense has actually looked DECENT this season, and I'm not saying that just because I root for the Rockets. I actually see him giving a lot more effort compared to last season and that's a huge plus.

Wade 19/3/2

Passing of the torch tbh. Kobe and Wade are too old now

Was it ever in doubt?

Don't tell me the 'Klay Thompson who has never averaged over 3 assists per game or 4 rebounds per game' hype ever caused you any doubt.

Yes, it really isnt that debatable.

Still gonna chuck for 38% in the playoffs doe. :coleman:

Yes he still is. Klay's playing really well so far though. He'll have a career year like ive been saying.

Still want to see Harden actually play well in the playoffs though, but Klay hasn't been great in the postseason either

If he shoots 38% in the playoffs and we lose in the 1st round again, have an ambulance waiting outside of my house for me.

Best regular season SG in the NBA, by far. He's got my vote.

He is the best, and as much as I want to like him considering everyone else hates him on here, it is tough considering he is a douche.

Not to mention, he has so many holes in his game. He is prone to such bad games because of it, but luckily he is such a fantastic 3 point shooter he gets away with it a lot. He seriously needs to learn something other than bull-rushing his way to the ring or pulling up for a step back 3.

He's making a solid case for top 5. I still have Klay, Derozan, Ellis, Wade, and Kobe ahead of him though.

How can he be the best when his defense is so putrid? These past games he's been showing some effort but it's still so freaking bad.

The question now is who will Lebron past the torch too now that he is post prime too? :confusedshrug:

This year better than prime Kobe.

By far the best SG in the game today, but like others have stated..the playoffs is where it matters most and im still waiting for Harden to prove something in the playoffs. So far his defense has looked good at times especially in the Miami game, but lets see if hes consistent with it.

Would be hilarious if Harden won an MVP. Dude would be more hated than Rose. Would also mean revisiting the OKC trade again.
