James Harden should be #1.

Love gets the nod because you gotta have someone from the East in the top 5 and Love's stats have been remarkable so far this season.

Doesn't Paul have something like 40 assists, 3 turnovers so far this season?

Unreal.

Imagine what Chris Bosh winning MVP would do for the gay community

Stop hating on Blake so hard. You know he's easily a top candidate.

Sorry, can only have one legitimate candidate from one team each. And CP3 > Blake

Davis averaging 24/13 with 4 blocks per game on 46% shooting. Love averaging 18/15 on 36% shooting :facepalm

but yea lets just put Love in there because hes in the east :lol

Unreal.

He does, but he has been extremely passive all year.

Crazy part about that is JJ and Matt especially, but also the rest of the team has missed about a dozen or so wide open jumpers that would have given Paul an assist. Just insane.

I felt so wrong leaving Klay off the list but dammit don't you think Curry and him will cancel eachother out?

Surprised at Dwight. He's having a normal season so far.

What's he averaging, like 15/12?

He's scoring on great efficiency (60%), and playing great defense and his team is undefeated thus far.

his team isn't a true enough contender in my mind yet.

has more to do w/ his supporting cast than him.

well if you are only including players on "contenders" you might as well remove dwight and bosh, and maybe dirk too. those teams aint winning a championship.

contenders for first or second seed since those are traditionally needed for a player to win MVP.

Ibaka and Adams have to be in there, Ibaka is the #1 PF in the NBA and Steve Adams is a top 5 C.

LeBron James should be top 5 at least now.
