Car Talk co-host Tom Magliozzi died on Monday from complications of Alzheimers.

Now we know why they started running re-runs in 2012. Incredibly sad news. Car Talk is probably my favorite show of all time, and I don't even own a car and dislike cars in general. They were just so hilarious and it always made me happy listening to them every Saturday. I still listen to the re-runs every weekend.
