He put up 14 & 9 last season on 55% shooting....not bad for a 24-year-old

played really well in FIBA

he deserves the money for his production the last couple seasons, he got paid a mil a year to put up 12/9 (his averages for his career so far)....

not bad for a guy in his 4th NBA season...

He's not being paid that money right now, so I don't see what you're getting at. He's improved his game every year and they expect him to have his best years when the extension kicks in. 11 mil for a big even putting up 15/10 on great efficiency is worth it. Bigs get paid, period.

Gortat just got a 60 mil deal, and he put up nearly identical numbers last season. Go figure.

No he wouldn't cause he would be a terrible fit next to Cousins and we have Reggie Evans who makes 1 million per year on the squad for offensive rebounding already. Jason Thompson has stepped his game up 4 games in and is a legit defender. The Kings 3 PF's combined will make as much as Faried will next season.
