I'll take 01, 02, 03, 06, 07, 08 and maybe 09 versions of Kobe over prime Durant. Kobe in his younger days was a great defender especially on ball, and one of the best in entire league while Durant been average at best at the end. Durant is more efficient scorer but Kobe more dynamic on offense he can beat you in many more ways.

Yeah but Durant would be a much better player if he was willing to chuck in the playoffs in the clutch. Instead, he defers to Westbrook

This pretty much sums it up. I'll also give scoring edge to Kobe also especially when he gets on fire from perimeter his outside shooting is amazing on top of great mid range game.

Kobe Bryant and Russell Westbrook may kill each other fighting over who gets the ball.

I will give the advantage to Kobe Bryant for the time being because he is a much better player in the post and defender than Kevin Durant. I won't say Kevin Durant is better until he stops being successfully defended by players like Chris Paul and Danny Green.

Kevin Durant must address this weakness in the post to truly become a transcendent player.
