Agreed something happened in Miami from 11-14 cant pinpoint it. But something took away team and his rebounding opportunities making them a worse overall rebounding team.

The LeBald effect. Makes his teammates better, but only when he leaves.

Bran.
He literally jumped over Dellavadova yesterday to take a defensive rebound that was landing straight for delly.

Sure, Bosh is rebounding better, but it isn't helping the team like it would have last season.
I'm not sure how much to support this Miami team in winning. It seems we are blatantly stuck in the 46-54 win zone, get to the playoffs and ultimately lose somewhere. Eventually this team is going to get older and the wins are going to keep dropping over the years, and we're going to be one of those teams that are always there but never do anything.
Probably just better to start tanking now and gather some picks.

He was never a great rebounder in Toronto.
Someone had to grab the boards, and it sure as hell wasn't gonna be bargs.

I disagree. Wade is old but still effective. Bosh has been great the past few games. The Heat just need a few more pieces (a defensive center for starters) to really contend.
Bosh never had the privilege of playing with another decent big man, if the Heat can somehow get one I can see Bosh's game reaching another level.

I completely get that, and I agree with your post. We are a key piece from being great. I don't think it is a big man - well it could be - but it needs to be a star player. A Marc Gasol, a DeMarcus Cousins, etc.
And I don't think we'll get it any time soon. Like I said, we're good enough for the 4th or 5th seed, but not much better, and it would take a miracle to get us to the finals.

Been saying it since the preseason- the Heat are a defensive/rebounding big away from being a contender. Dwight murdered them last night, Big Al raped the corpse today.

This is why box score stats belie impact IMO. He was a legit 20-10 bigman (with 3pt range and quality defense) during the big 3 era, the scoring/rebounding opportunities were just never there.

I think they're fundamentally flawed. Very good team, but you need a top flight superstar today unless you're super, super deep. Can Bosh be that guy? I'm not sure, but I think they'd need healthy Wade as well to do damage.
They're going to be very interesting to watch, especially if Deng is back to his Chicago level of performance.

I don't think it does. All they need is an inside presence and big body to play centre every now and then.
Good enough for a 4-5 seed? The East is still completely up in the air and Miami could easily end up the 2nd seed with 52 wins (if Rose goes down even a top seed would be feasible with that win record). Miami have looked so much better than the Cavs and it's not like their system and the number of new players to incorporate isn't pretty similar to the Cavs' situation. (Deng and McBob not acclimated, two rookies getting meaningful minutes, Williams and Hamilton as well). Miami have looked pretty good without at all playing to their potential yet - lots of good ball movement and passing and cutting etc. These things take time before they'll be consistent as it requires such good chemistry between the players.
The biggest problem is that Bosh & Wade aren't playing together enough as Spo doesn't want them both off the floor at the same time. But to maximise both Bosh and Wade's effectiveness they need to be played together (reminded of last night, 3 straight trips down the floor Wade got Bosh an open 3, and open 2, and an open dunk all through running that two man action. And Bosh also gives Wade more space to operate, which honestly, he needs at this point in his career.

I'm sure Bosh was okay with losing some rebounds and making 4 straight Finals, after doing **** all in Toronto in 7 years.
the f*ck does lebron have to do with Bosh not rebounding? Miami were begging for Bosh to step up at the rebounding department but he just let them down. Bosh always talked about how he must improve his rebounding cuz the team needed it yet it never happened.

I'm sure Bosh's contract had a "LeBron's rebound" clause.
Now he's signed a new contract and the Heat decided to forget that option...leading to an increase in the available rebounds.

He really wasn't. Best I'd call him is a good rebounder. His career TRB%(total rebound percentage) in Toronto was 14.9% with his best individual year peaking at 17.7% in 2010. Decent(for his position) but definitely not great. Compare that to actual GREAT rebounding power forwards like Duncan(career 18.51% TRB), Barkley(career 18.20% TRB) or Garnett(career 16.99% TRB). Not that impressive.
This year Bosh's TRB% is a ridiculous 19.5%. No way he keeps that up considering he's never shown that kind of rebounding ability at any point in his career.
