I'd love to hear the opinion of GSW fans as well.

I literally watched this dude guard Jordan, who is far bigger than him, and he is matched up with Griffin who he is keeping quiet. Not to mention he is a SF, and he does a great job matching up with them too.

Whenever the Heat played the Warriors, I always felt he gave Lebron a lot of trouble, more than any other defender in the NBA as well. Dude is so underrated defensively, and if anyone should be getting the defending 1-5 constantly praised about them, it's this guy IMO.

Not sure, but Golden State overall as a team is insanely deep defensively.

His free agency will definitely be interesting. Great bang-for-the-buck player. Is he going to start all year long? It's the smartest thing in terms of rotations/line-ups. I mean bringing Livingston, Iggy, & Lee all of the bench gives them some nice options and should help balance out their offense when starters take a rest.

I wouldn't go as far as to say the best but his basketball IQ is up there with anybody.

Legitimately capable of guarding 1-5. One of the best role players in the game.

Taking a hidden shot at your king?

Clearly not the best. He's an SF, like you said.

Best defender who can't anchor a defense? Sure, I'll buy that (this season, at least).

He's a great role player but the dude looks literally like a silverback

He's that guy everytime he's around the ball no matter what he makes winning plays.

He's a pest.. big dude with fast feet and long arms. Good defender, but not too sure about the best.

Draymond is gritty, he gets you those extra possessions, those 50/50 balls, tough rebounds, basically the little things that can often get looked over. He is a fierce competitor too, and will not back down from anyone. Draymond, Igoudala, Thompson, Livingston and Bogut all on the court at the same time is just an insane defensive unit.

I sure hope the Warriors lock him up, he is a winner. You can see it in his style of play. It's cool to see people finally taking notice. His scoring is finally coming around, but Draymond has been playing at this level defensively for a couple of years now.

good on ball defender, but can he really defend guards? ive never seen it. and his off ball defense doesnt really stand out. which is understandable, since he doesnt have great physical tools

at best hes a top 10 defender in the league

agree. he does so much that doesn't even show in the stat sheet but fans/coaches know what's up. he's also great at feinting help defense and rotating back to his man, setting screens, etc. again, just stuff that doesn't show up in the stat sheet. best defender in the league is a stretch though.

what makes this warriors team so dangerous is they have good defenders everywhere. perimeter, forward and at center. bogut's obviously huge for their playoff push but kerr also has them playing better overall, especially offensively. thought they could finish as high as #2 in the west before the season and still feel that way.

Bwahaha, love me some Draymond. Bought low on him last season in my fantasy leagues. Knew he was due to breakout at some point. :applause:
