So not only do we need a running Lebron topic for the season...

We need a separate one to track the fluidness of his motions?

This dude is not that ****ing interesting.....nobody is this interesting.

Because much of his productivity derives from it.

As much as I hate that other basketball forum...what they have is a legitimate Lebron thread. The one on here just acts as headquarters for the Lebron trolls, who I'm surprised are still here.

Lebron was never an athletic player, why do people care about it now?

No different than what he has looked like so far this season. He is actually better off staying on the perimeter right now, because even when he does get inside he has no hope of finishing. That back has to be worse than they're letting on. Just the way he's moving doesn't look right.

The most telling sign is that he's not getting in defensive stance often, which seems to indicate some level of discomfort. The weird thing is that he's playing 40 minutes every night on what we believe to be a bad back.

What's the point of writing this shit?
As far as I'm concerned, I think at some point in time you were trying to be a respectable poster with you real account, then when you didn't have the intelligence required to be such a poster, you resorted to trolling to gather at least some attention.
Come out of that worthless character and try to be a respectable poster again,

Why are people so obsessed with Lebrons athleticism
Because I'm one of the firm believers that once LeBron's athleticism goes, he's gonna drop big time. Now I'm not saying that's what's happening now, honestly I have no clue what's going on with him but his game isn't refined to the point where he can dominate into his mid thirties like a certain player did in the mid to late 90s. LeBron's effectiveness is based almost entirely on his freak athleticism, the LeStans will have to deal with that fact sooner or later. And to be honest, dude is only 30, too young to decline so sharply so I don't think this is a permanent thing, at least not yet. I still think we'll start to see a noticeable drop off by age 32-33, if he regains his form.

He's played a hell of a lot of minutes over his career though. I'm surprised he's looked THIS bad this season, but he had clearly declined somewhat last year as well, especially defensively (Miami's offense benefited him far more than Cleveland's does, hence the high shooting %, but he didn't look as good as in 2012 & 2013).

Bron's never had a great first step, was always a mediocre two foot jumper and relied on his long strides, great topspeed, and one foot leaping to do damage in the opencourt and fastbreak

Now he's lost his vertical, he's really no different from a black luke walton in term of his skillset

he's getting by with smoke and mirror and has been doing that for the past 2 years

Bron tends to look a bit slow early in the season but I have to admit I think I've never seen a slower version of Lebron so far. He hasn't even been able to blow by opposing bigs and he has shown absolutely no bounce or speed so far. Idk if he's just not there yet or whether something (his back) is bothering him but he's mainly just trotting around on the court...

It's ISH. Check out the first page and all the stupid threads, this one is actually one of the better threads. Supposedly best player it the game looking this bad athletically, pretty interesting to debate. Of course that could go on in the other one of his threads.

Regarding Lebron's athleticism, terrible, no speed, explosion and lift. He always usually starts slow at the beggining of the season but he never looked so unathletic. I downloaded a few first last years Miami games and watched a little. It's like night and day compared to now. Getting a dunk on the fastbreak looks like an impossible task for him at the moment.

Thats why as I've been sayin since he was younger...he should have learned to work in the post better and learned how to play off the ball also...one of the other things that will stop him from being a productive player as he ages is his foot work.....its horrible :facepalm

I think it's crazy how people look at his every move. Lebron is not 2009 athletic but he's still an elite athlete.

What I see from him is:

Conservation- The days of seeing him sky 40 inches in the air for blocks and dunks will be less. Not because of ability but because it's no longer necessary. He sees the bigger picture and for that, he won't be getting crazy early season.

Figuring out his body- He lost all that weight and he has beginning back problems.

Conditioning- basketball wise, he doesn't look "mid season ready" He's definitely in shape but I think he took this summer more to relax and focus on business than basketball.

This Cavs teams only potential issue is Dion Waters. He's a bad apple and unless the coaching can get him to be a defensive minded guard who picks his spots offensively, this team will not realize its potential. This team will be in the ECF... Only the Bulls and maybe Washington can give them fits.

Not even 1 year back. Look at the sprint and explosion at 0:18. Then explosion off the dribble at 1:10. Then at 2:03 blowing past Lee.

I just don't think he's even close to that form right now.

Umm... nobody going to respond to this?

If this isn't permaban worthy, what is?

Shaq was never physically dominant, he was only good because of his superior free-throw percentage.

Mike Penberthy is the GOAT.

What does it take to get banned on this stupid ****ing forum?

this

LeBron has always been a skill based player

His play will be back to normal once the situation in Cleveland stabilizes and Irving, Love and Blatt actually start contributing

You're a little bit right because flopping is a skill.
