I guess I just didn't recognize the kind of overreaching impact this dude could have. :lol

But hey, on the bright side, we may finally get to see who can hold their mouth open the longest...

I don't know where Woodson got this rep for being a good coach, because I always knew he couldn't coach worth shit. talent got the Knicks in the play-offs these last couple of seasons, not coaching. Knicks started falling off after Lin, and Kidd left. Woodson was basically just the black version of Mike Antonni.

Mike Woodson played a big part in the Atlanta Hawks sucking ass throughout most of the early 2000s to the beginning of the mid 2000s. The Hawks actually started making the play-offs right after firing Woodson.

He's so bad that the Knicks are still reverting back to their old ways as if he were still coach. They can't get him out of their system.

Honestly though, a legit 3-and-D guy at the SF would do wonders for this team. Mike Woodson and all.

Doc should just start Reggie Bullock from here on out to at least see if he can potentially be that guy.

I think Griffin needs to go inside instead of falling in love with his jumper, I don't think it's Woodson's fault.

I can't left this thread without a Doc reaction gif, though

Yeah, Blake's taking way too many jumpers right now.

What took him to the next level last season was his aggressiveness attacking the rim and his play-making.

I guess the one positive about it is that he's clearly becoming very comfortable with his jumper and if he is able to find that balance between when to attack, when to shoot, and when to be a play-maker, he'll be pretty tough to stop come playoff time.

This. And then it was his improved jumpshooting that allowed him to take advantage of defenses sagging/paint packing against him. His jumper should be a situational second option, not what he looks to go for at the first opportunity

The offense is becoming all ISO's again..it's almost like the VDN days.

I always saw Rivers as a coach who's good at motivating players. Not so much X's and O's. Now coaching a team full of bonehead floppers is showing that.

Eh, he's always had a good reputation for drawing up out-of-bounds/timeout plays. Maybe not the best at orchestrating a full game from the sidelines, but in spot situations he's more than capable

This product on the court makes me miss Baron Davis and I never thought I'd say that.

Wrong.
D'Antoni is inifintely a much better coach than Woodson.

Yup. Blake's jumper should be either a "hey f*ck you" when his defender gives him 5 feet of space, or a "Anthony Davis and Omer Asik are on either side of the rim so I'll let this one fly" type of thing.
