It seems we may be getting a little loosey goosey with the phrase "crossed". It was a good, simple move one way or another, but I'd label it as a jab step, not a cross-over dribble.

Also, not to be an apologist, but it seemed LeBron was prepping to manipulate an on-coming screen there. He tried to cheat a little by looking to fight through early, and Hayward wisely took advantage. He was burnt one way or another, but not in the standard "Oh! GoGo Haywood had him on skates, son!" type of manner.
