View Full Version : Iggy is getting a free pass
Because the warriors are playing excellent but he is not.
6.3/3.5/3.3 on 43.5% with a PER of 8.31. Making 12.3 million this season.
The dubs have Steph, Klay, Barnes, Barbosa, Livingston, and Rush. I think they should move him for a couple of bigs(since Bogut and Lee are so injury prone)
How about Iggy for Ilyasova and Henson?

Which is why Mark Jackson refused to move him to a 6th man role last year. However, Kerr has realized that Barnes needs to play with the starting unit, and Iggy will be more useful taking a larger offensive role off the bench. Iggy is still going to play 30mpg, but it may take him some time to adjust to his 6th man role.

I thought this thread was about how white rapper Iggy Azelea is getting a free pass in the hip hop community.

Why did I assume Swaggy P's girlfriend was being gifted by the Lakers? :hammerhead:

Trade him to the Hawks.
We have cap space and can send out some small contracts in return.
Warriors get cap space next summer.

hes playing a career low 28minutes. He fits the team perfectly, they needed a physical lockdown permiter player, and they got one. Spreads the ball, great complementary player on a championship team so know watchu talkin bout first doe

True, but one of Iggy or Lee needs to start. I just don't think it makes sense to bring them both off the bench.
Our defense has absolutely looked incredible, though.

Lee will start once he's healthy.

Should he? I love Lee off the bench for scoring. Honestly the starting 5 has been nothing short of incredible. I just don't get why anyone should change it.

Unless their current rotations start playing significantly worse, I would expect Draymond to continue starting.
GSW bench is pretty strong due to experience/talent/skill of Livingston/Iggy/Lee. Granted, Lee & Iggy need to time to adjust coming off the bench, but that is a sick 8 man rotation.
As long as Barbosa/Rush and Ezeli/whoever can spot enough minutes at SG/C then this team looks super dangerous.

Why does every player have to be traded after a few down games?

The offense we are running is tailor made for D. Lee. We've been playing great, but the offense isn't creating easy buckets like it should be. With Curry - Thompson - Bogut - Lee playing pick and pass from the high post, we'll get a lot more layups and open jumpers. Currently, with just Bogut playing the high post, teams are just sagging off and denying driving lanes to the basket. With Lee, they can't do that, because he's money from midrange.
Green also fits better playing the 4 on the 2nd unit, where he can help stretch the court for guys like Livingston and Iggy to operate.

He was mediocre even before the new deal. Dude's not worth more than $6-7 mil a yr.

He's the same player he always was. He's just not looking for his shot much this year because of all the offensive weapons the Warriors have.
I will jump off the Warriors bandwagon if they trade him, which they won't because they're not stupid.
