Effortlessly dropping threes and long-range twos. GOAT always gonna GOAT.

Very good looking game. I'm sorry, not saying this because I watched it back then, but it's just more aesthetically pleasing than this era with the different rules.

Admittedly, I'm biased, but I agree.

check out muresean camping in the paint for at least 5 seconds while he guards longley, who is out of the picture entirely and behind the 3-point line - longley qualifies as being "adjacent" to the paint, so muresean's paint-camping is standard..

After two plays I noticed something different between Kobe and MJ and Bron.

Both Kobe and MJ are good at using the screen. They know how to be patient and set up their defender.

Bron doesn't play as good off the screen. He doesn't know how to create easy shots for himself, how to run his man into the screen, how to use his footwork like they do.

Whether playing off the ball or with the ball, both MJ and Kobe use the screen as a weapon to score. Bron uses it to pass.

I was at this game (living in the DC area), sitting behind the basket. The thing that stood out to me about watching MJ in person was the elevation he would get on his fadeaway....a treat to watch.

The buzz at Capital Center was insane. To say that the Bullets had a home game would be generous, Jordan jerseys all-around and the arena erupted on his breakaway dunk.

As a Bulls-hater back in the day, I left actually appreciating the rock-star environment that they brought to town.

I was off work that day due to the holiday, and was chillin' at home watching this game. Good times.

Can someone point me to MJ's 80+ point games?

Jordan had a 40 point playoff game once every 4.8 games.

For Kobe, once ever 15 playoff games... once every 12 for lebron.

3:12 - MJ had total confidence in his jumper to come down on a delayed break and hoist the 21 footer with no one underneath. All net.

the funny thing about this play, aside from muresean setting up a tent in the paint, is the closeout defense by Price.. as bad as it gets.. :oldlol:
