I'm still taking Harden over Dwight.

Is this a joke? Harden as clearly been the best player on the rockets so far.

Doesn't Harden have better numbers?
And anyway, I would take Marc, Klay, Griffin, Bosh and Cousins for MVP over both of them right now

too early to call but if things continued as is, neither would get it because they would cannibalize each other's votes

Their defense has been incredible so far. Harden has looked great running the offense and has made some great passes, but in the couple games I've watched Dwight looks great on the block.

I think it's a two man race between Dwight and Davis as of now. No way they'll be the last two standing, but ask me today, and they're my picks.

I know you like bigs who play good defense, but Davis? His team is probably gonna end up winning ~40 games. He's not going to win an MVP with that record. If Dwight can average ~22/12/3 for the seasons and play DPOY level defense, he's definitely going to win it.

AD's defense has actually been a bit overrated so far to start his career. Though he's looked good so far, I think his contributions come mostly as a scorer (he's developed into a great offensive anchor IMO).

I know his team isn't going to win that much (my preseason prediction was 46 games), just as of today he'd be #2 on my ballot.

Stephen Curry.

26 ppg, 7 apg, 6.5 rpg, 3 spg and got revenge on their rivals.

I don't trust Davis if they sneak into the playoffs. He reminds me of Drob. He just taking jumpers and getting hustle plays. I want to see him score consistently on the block.

Thanks for confirming that you haven't watched a single Rockets game this season.

DH was my preseason pick but Harden has the right shenanigans to win/steal his votes. Curry is the guy at the moment for me.

Ive seen all of the rockets game. Harden was the best player in all of them except for last night. He has been laying good defense as well. Howard has been hobbled by his knee, but he broke out last night. Also that was the first game where Ariza looked bad who has also been real good.

And yes, I know Harden has been flopping his way to the free throw line.

Plus being 4-0 with wins over LAC and POR (and I guess the 4-1 Kings).

As good as Howard has been, if anyone is our MVP and deserves to be more of a bonafide/valid candidate it is Harden as he leads the offense with amazing playmaking/scoring. He has steped up his defense to a point that I am shocked sometimes at how well he is playing. He is leading by example.

Overall I think our team defense is improved because the operative word is TEAM. Ariza's leadership onD has made a huge difference. He leads by example.

I don't think so. We're actually playing with some balance. I think D12 is the best player on our team though.
