If he gets injured (hopefully not)

This team is looking great so far, I'm excited for playoffs already.

Cleveland has to be.

That much talent and they're fully healthy? They'll figure it out.

Do you really believe that with how much Jimmy Butler has grown? With the deepest bigs in the league? With 2 already good points guards, hinrich who can run the offense, and aaron brooks who can score off the bench?

you can't believe that if you have seen this team play.

Cleveland doesn't have the depth, and I agree any team with Lebron gets to the top of this list easily, but this bulls team is just very well rounded, and their defense is still the best in the east, if not the whole league.

With Rose they're definitive favorites for the first or second seed. Without him, they'll be in a bit more of a dog fight between Cleveland, Toronto, and Washington. This team can still get it done though based on their personnel and ability to defend against anyone.

Wizards have been pretty good with Beal, Gortat, Webster all out. I'll take them over a Rose-less Bulls (again).

Miami had a near BYE into the Finals last year. I almost feel like Cle has one this year...

without rose?

Cleveland, Miami, Washington, Toronto would beat them with ease

I love my Raptors to shreds but I'm not ready to be that bold yet.

False.

Rose gives Bulls something they didn't have last season and the season before. He can score the ball well and is the main playmaker. Last season, Chicago was ranked last in ppg. They could've definitely used Rose's scoring last season. Without him, the Bulls are still a pretty damn good team though. They proved that by making the playoffs when D-Rose was out. To be honest, I actually thought they'd be one of the worst teams after Rose tore his ACL back in 2012, but they proved me and a lot of doubters wrong. I'm really glad the Bulls played well that season. Just goes to show you how well they could have done if Derrick Rose didn't get hurt. Right now, I just hope his ankles don't bother him all season. I desperately want to see him perform well because when he's healthy, he's easily one of the most exciting players to watch.

I'd say Cleveland are the favorites regardless of the Bulls seeding or Derrick Rose being on the active roster. How could any team with LeBron James on it not be favorites to come out on top of the conference?

But the Bulls would be lucky to get out of the first round without Rose, unless Jimmy Butler continues to improve on what he has already shown this season. Then I'd give the Bulls a chance against anyone regardless of Derrick Rose's presence, the dude really does have a high ceiling and I don't see him being the type of guy who takes steps backward.

So now depth is the most important thing?

And what difference does it make when LeBron/Irving/Love are on the court for 40+ minutes in the playoffs?

Why is has OKC been the favorites on here with no depth?

And Cle actually has legitimate big men AND 3pt specialists coming off the bench who have a track record of being clutch in the playoffs.

How many ****ing excuses does this team need?

I hope not...but I will believe it when I see it. I think they make it there for sure.

If LeBron can slay these GOAT East teams this year, he's top 3 all-time for sure

Boozer gone, playing with Rose up to this point? No, I wouldn't pick them to be my favorite. But that's not saying they couldn't win out the East.

That guy is clueless.

If he said Bulls can't get past the second round without Rose that would be more accurate.

False, someone will knock them out in the 2nd or 3rd round, Cleveland, Washington, Toronto? Someone will take them down. Don't think they have enough offense without Rose.

I've said it before - enjoy it while you can. Many teams will be lunching on NY until they round out the roster with capable players. Bulls will only get props from me if they make the finals.

this team without rose could probably compete in the second round. rose is a high end impact player on this bulls teams, he matters when we play against elite teams, but not as much is needed from him against mediocre teams.

with rose, they are making the ecf and favorable chance to make the finals and good chance to win the chip.

without rose bulls can make the second round, compete, maybe, if they are lucky, barely make it to the ecf, then get obliterated.
